Nice, I've got a back up bulb, but no spare ballast. I'm really hoping to get a new one in the next couple months since my old one is MANY years old and would be better for a spare.

The guy that runs my local place is a pretty nice old timer I've known for years now. He would prolly help me out if I really needed, but I'm not sure just cus he might not want to get "involved" I don't know. I'd be finding something to sell real quick and buying a new ballast most likely in my shoes.

Weekend update, a day late.

Four plants went into flowering today -- the Kaboom of unknown sex, Third Dimension, and one each Critical Jack and Pineapple Express. I've finally outgrown the single 1K HPS, and added the Solarstorm 800 to the mix, set to 'Bloom' with the UV turned on. I'll add a second 1K HPS as well sometime next month.

In flowering, I'm still suffering from a calmag deficiency in the Hash Passion -- but it should only have about 3 weeks left, so I'm reluctant to feed it too heavily. I've also got one flowering LSD showing nute burn (curled, brown leaf edges). It has seven weeks to go, hopefully it will grow into it.

I need to get the CO2 installed and running today as well.

Finished farming for the day. I've now filled the 30-site EZ Cloner back up. All of the Blackberries have had the top growth taken as clones, and mainlined to four heads (first pic). All of the LSDs have been cloned, and have been mainlined to anywhere from 8 to 12 heads -- they are all slightly asymmetrical clones that I'm encouraging into shape (pic 2). A couple of them will probably move to 7-gallon pots on Sunday.

Thanks! After working on it most of the day Sunday and Monday, yesterday and today have involved almost zero gardening. Nice to have a break :)

Weekend update:

Moved two Pineapple Express into flowering chamber, and moved two Headband 707 and one LSD from 2 gallons into 7 gallons.

The Hash Passion are due to harvest in two weeks, so I've pretty much given up on the calmag problem. One of the two-gallon HP plants also started showing calmag deficiences, this strain apparently *really* likes a lot of it... I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it around at this point, frankly. Other than that, things are going well.

Thanks! Here's the mid-week update. Moved a bunch of clones into red cups, I'm trying to time it so there isn't anything in cups for my 5-day vacation coming up in a few weeks. I've already done test runs with watering, the 2-gallon and the 7-gallon can go 5 days no problem if I saturate the morning I leave.

I spent about an hour last night shaving the legs of everything in flowering, including getting rid of all the small buds that had formed below the canopy. I'm thinking of putting my 5-gallon bucket of dried trim that I've accumulated into the bubble hash machine and seeing what comes out. I know there are trichomes in there, but no idea if it's going to be enough to even fuck with.

The Hash Passion are fading hard, I'm hoping they're 10 days out at this point. The two LSD that were nute burned now seem to be over it and are producing nice looking buds and leaves. All of the new stuff is liking the Solarstorm light.

In veg, I've got 2 Pineapple Express and 1 Critical Jack that will be ready to flower this weekend. Everything else is looking good, I'm happy.

Really man they look fantastic!, Seems like a 5 gallon bucket should be more then enough trim to fck with if its decent trim. I've been using about 1-2 oz of trim at a time to make oil, and getting a few grams each time.

This isn't good trim. This is all the stuff I've been pruning in veg, plus some stuff beneath the screen in flower. All it will cost is time and a bag of ice, I'll report back.

Thats what i figured you ment. It will be garbage. If theres no buds on the plant past at least mid flower theres no tricombs unless your hydromaster. Dont waste the time or money on it. Compost. Veg leaves are lettuce. :):):)

I'm with ninja, I don't save anything that isn't covered in trichs, so basically just sugar leaves, foxtails, and popcorn. I wonder sometimes how many trichs I waste, cus I see them on leaves I toss, but I don't think its anything worth my time. Doing it this way, I always know my butter, hash or oil is gonna be worth while. I also agree that your garden is really looking very nice man, those bushes are filling and the buds are looking beautiful :).

Stuck my arm into one of the Hash Passion plants to grab a dead leaf, and when I pulled my arm out, it was completely sticky...

Weekend update: Moved three Critical Jacks into the flower chamber. I've now filled up the first two lights, I'll need to add the 2nd 1K HPS before I can move anymore in there. Yesterday got away from me, I still need to take clones and move some 2 gallon plants into 7 gallons. Also, I present to you the Immortal Kaboom clone.
