I'm biased, but I'd recommend hempy. It IS hydro and it's quite easy man. get yourself like a black 3 gallon square bin and drill a pencil sized hole about 2 inch from the bottom. fill it with perlite and vermiculite. Get yourself a ph meter and an ec meter. get some veg nutes, I use Dutch Master Gold. Once the roots hit the bottom- boom. And you control exactly what they're getting. Not really any guesswork. There's a little bit more to it but I'll let you research if you find this method interesting.

Would I use a 400 or 600 light with that and do u no what yield I would end up with i
I'm planning on using a 1 square meter tent

Well I just use a 400w with cool tube, but soon to be upgrading to 600w (my tent is 1.2x1.2x2) The 600w will obviously produce more heat than the 400, this might become an important factor for you. Yield depends on so many things. Strain, veg time, training techniques, grower skill, ect, ect. I wouldn't count on any yield. Just completing your first grow should be a valuable experience.

I would recommend using a quality potting soil to start. Something like Fox Farm's Ocean Forrest.

Yeah the kit I've seen is with a 400 cool tube I'm more bothered about sum nice frosty buds instead ov huge yields atm I've orderd some Blu cheese and uk cheese seeds although I think these maybe a hard strain for me to grow 1st time so am thinking ov getting wappa cuttings

Fox farm ocean forrest is good, another I tried recently was happy frog which was also pretty good
But you should look up a super soil if you are interested in growing in straight pots

U couldn't go wrong with criticals idea though
Another simple hydro set up I love is ebb n flow

The amount of Yield depends on how you feed her. What kind of light and most of all its GENETICS!!

well just a quick sum up is, when a plant is in veg cycle, They intend on needing more Nitrogen(n), It helps with the growth of a plant. Not so much Phos. (p) but still use some because its good for the roots. Phos.(p) Is used more during the flowering. So more (p) and less (n) but still use nitrogen also. Example: use something like 10-5-7 for veg. For flower use something like 15-55-11 bloom booster. Thats what i use.(Not saying you have too)Plants want more (p) thats what produces bud. You will see those numbers on all plant soil and nutrient products. The first number is the amount of Nitrogen(n), 2nd number is the amount of phosphorus(p) and the 3rd is potash(k). Just remember to not over feed with nutrients,(I use it every other feeding, once again not sayin you have to, its something I do)Every grow is different and amazing. just have fun with it, experiment, its an ART!!! lol Hope this helped you a little.

Very helpfull mate appreciate it when u say 10-5-7 is this ml? Of n-p-k?
Its the n-p-k. When your plant is still a seedling, dont use a high amount of nutrients. The bigger she gets, use higher amounts. You'll know if your over doing it with the nuts, just keep an eye on your plant and see how she's taking it. Every strain is a little bit different. If you know which one you have, You can look it up on the internet or even on this website lol on whats the best way to grow that strain. Some need more water than other and some need way more. Also depends on if its an Indica or a Sativa? Around 80% of your plants "goodness" comes from its genetics.

Also, you can use the directions on the back of the bottles and they will tell you how much to use if you water or foiler it.

UK cheese is really good, personally one of my favorites. Ones that Ive found easier were FLO and DIESEL. POGK is really good to. It just all depends on what kind of plant you wanna grow? Indica's intend to stay short and bushy. Good for growing indoors. Sativa's grow real tall. I've seen some grow over 7 feet tall. So depending on the amount of space you have. Indica's give you more of a couch high, good for pain and that good stuff. Sativa's really open your mind. More of an upper high I guess you can say.

Just because a plant grows 7 feet tall doesnt mean its gonna produce more bud than a plant thats only 3 feet tall. My Indica is only 15 Inches tall(38cm) and she is flowering already. Its also easier to hide them too lol
