Yeah, that's why the people gleefully rebelled and sought to depose him, to the extent that ordering the military to fire on civilians was necessary for survival. They really loved that guy, surely.
The people? How many did you actually see celebrating it? 200?

i'm guessing you're a big believer in the "arab spring"? Please grow up.

I'm not surprised to hear unemployment is falling, someone will have to operate all those drones they are launching over the country and staff that huge data center they are building to listen to and watch everything, plus they don't count people who don't have jobs like the homeless in their unemployment numbers only those on unemployment.
so fuckn true the only thing that can save America is hemp and cannabis and a revolution

Debt monetization? That means turning debt into money, its what all fiat currencies are based upon. Every dollar in existence was brought into being by being loaned out. Not many loans with 0% interest applied.
When a government "borrows" from a central bank, it's not really borrowing anything. That's the point. That's why printing money is so dangerous.

So if Japan decides to call the Yen a dollar, its the same dollar as ours?

Just because it has the same name doesn't mean its the same thing.

When you make me a promise to pay me in gold and you break that promise its called a default, default means you cannot pay. No value.
Obviously not, but a name change wouldn't make the yen worthless.

I don't need to be a believer. The people wanted their dictators gone and that was that. Had Libya not seen the intervention it did, it would probably still be locked up in a civil war like Syria is right now.

Again, what are you like 19? Intervention? if that's what you call in influx of salafi jihadists? You've done the same in Libya as Iraq, turned the place into a hotbed of religious violence, pitting sunni/wahhabist vs shiites... Benghazi was the result of "blowback"... And Egypt is loving their new MB masters...

The claim was that Libya was overthrown over the African Gold Dinar. The merits of the Arab Spring have nothing to do with that claim.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney)
The annual deficit has fallen 32% over the first seven months of this fiscal year compared with same period last year, according to Congressional Budget Office figures released Tuesday.
@ OP
I may have missed it since I didn't read after the first post...

But you do realize that what you posted isn't true, right? The deficite is not shrinking, it is simply not going up at the same rate this year as it was last year.

Liberal spin.

Instead of being in debt 500 billion dollars this year, its only 400 billion. HOORAY OBAMA!

the deficit is indeed shrinking, my confused friend. in fact, the deficit has been cut in half since obama took office.

by the time clinton left, we actually had a year where we were actually balanced, no extra debt (a reduction of debt by some measures).

but the fiscally conservative republican after him took what was basically a surplus and turned it into a $1.5 trillion annual structural deficit by the time he left.

the next budget we'll see under obama should be close enough to $642 billion or so, which is about the fastest the deficit has shrunk since WWII.

so basically, you are entirely wrong.

it is simply not going up at the same rate this year as it was last year.
like i said, the deficit is actually going down at a faster rate this year than it did last year and is going down faster than any time since WWII.

it's actually not a good thing, as we should be spending more money on infrastructure, job programs, education and health care, all of which are high value added investments into our economy. but that's another topic.

we can disagree on the empirical data about keynesian success while still agreeing that you are dead wrong about this one.

the deficit is indeed shrinking, despite your confusion.

Liberal spin.
don't try to blame "liberal spin" for your own inability to not confuse the facts here.

It's just funny how quickly they blame "Sith Lord Boosh", yet can't do their own budget and merely continue his spending resolutions...

I'm close to fifty, I watched Nixon in the Watergate scandal and they made him resign. This Obama makes Nixon look like an alter Boy.
Some of these Obama polices will haunt us for years to come.

The Budget is located in Mitch McConnells pocket sitting right next to "goal of making Obama a one term president"..
Dare I say America would've been better off with a third candidate.

Obama and Romney are the pinnicle of US civilisation are they, the two people who define America?

They'd be better suited to representing the US at the Special Olympics if you ask me...
