Well you seem to know your stuff about dissolved oxygen but the plants clearly know where the oxygen is coming from. I have yet to have my res temp go over 75 and im having great results with my system. I am concerned about how im going to keep my res temp down when i switch to a HPS bulb. From what i understand, res temp should be between 65-70 degrees when flowering? Any tips on keeping the res cool would be greatly appreciated.
Again, the plants DO NOT have the ability to absorb the oxygen gases coming from your airstones, whatever sign you are seing that they know oxygen is making its way to the surface of your water culture via the airstones is an illusion I PROMISE. That isnt an argument Im willing to pursue as you have the ability to google it for yourself. Nonetheless, I am glad you are experiencing success, truly I am, are you running non stop H2o2 with your res? I saw in another thread you were asking about the setup of an 8" inline (you can Pm me if you didnt get a satisfactory answer) but that should help maintain some of the temps with your HPS bulb. Regardless I would set up your pump inline as suggested above and hook up an igloo DIY chiller at the same time.

Something like that is cheap and very effective believe it or not. Goodluck.
OP, I got your PM regarding the setup of an inline water pump and recommendation for model. I dont DWC or undercurrent myself (Im just interested in the science behind it) and would want you to get the most out of your investment. I suggest you post your query in the water culture forum here or look over at thc farmer as they seem to have a higher population of undercurrent users. I would encourage you to do extensive research before jumping in to UC, it requires full time attention and a good understanding of pH, PPM, DO, and plant biology. That being said when dialed in can produce some of the most exceptional results for MJ cultivation. I just wouldnt call it beginner friendly. Goodluck. ~S0uP
