I absolutely cant help it. These posts drive me crazy.

Hey GUYS I want to grow 20 lbs in my shoe-box with a couple of CFLS and I am going to put all my seeds in ONE pot cause I can't afford 69 cents! HELP ME!

Jeez, just save up 500 bucks and do it right.
The investment is about 450 without tent; however the 100$ 135w ufo was not needed could have just used CFLs and purchased higher watt hps light. There is 2 seeds in one container of out the 100$ish order with intention of 3 plant grow special eddy, you must be slightly confused after 2,400 posts; your in the newbie section, there is no mention of yield in this thread as I have read through other 135w ufo, and 150w hps grows.

I have 3rd degree burns cuz of an accident n dentures @ 26 so i dont go out in public alot, get off my dick please, thanks. Perhaps this thread wouldn't have bothered you if you didn't read it, I'm pretty sure the clear containers wrapped in something will suffice to hide the roots from light until I order a tent and dolomite, thanks for your amazing insight.

I switched em into a bit deeper containers n wrapped a little foil around em, should be ok only need it for temp period anyhows; don't think they'll veg too fast under the 135w ufo n 100w cfl.

these 3 look ok since last nites transplant, never done it before so wasn't really sure but wasn't much soil to move.

Was purchased from ebay in a 3rd party type transaction, so yeah they had removed it from packaging and put some in a white trash bag. It doesn't have anything else added to it, 6.0ish pH out of the box.
Everyone has their own preference so this may not appeal to you. But if keeping it really simple is important then I might do something like put 1.8 cubic feet of promix, 5-10lbs of organic worm castings, 1-2 tablespoons of lime, and the perlite and mychorriza in a doubled up 55 gal 6mil contractor garbage bag and shake the hell out of it. I'd then add maybe 1/2 gallon of water distributed evenly to add a little moisture, then shake it up again. Let fresh air into the bag and give it a quick shake each day, for a month, letting it sit with the bag a bit open (preferably in a warm place.) Give the mychorriza and bacteria a chance to decompose some of the peat in the promix, making nutrients more readily available and stabilzing ph. Then you can be 100% sure that the soil is good to go when you need to use it. If you want to do a bit more, then try a 'super soil' recipe.

That would be good, I'm still in need of tent and dolomite for these plants in this soil now, after I see how the dolomite does I will consider mixing up some soil to sit. At the moment only plan on keeping three of the 4 sprouted, preferably 3 females... but I don't know if I'll get that lucky considering they are bag seeds right now instead of using attitude order to learn on.

little updated pic:

Going to transplant that smaller one outta there that sprouted last nite in a few hours, :/.

Think her plant leaves droop a bit because of the over water, not too big of deal at the moment, dolomite will b here any time nao; even though they are bagseeds I still don't really want em to die off until I kno they are male lol. :p

Everything going fine today, one of the smaller bagseeds has shown slight yellow on one of the leaves, very faint, probably from the watering to keep ph down, pH at 7.0, will skip watering today.

hopefully pH don't go over 7.5ish till tmrw.

I was considering putting 150w hps up during veg, I am ordering 3 3-gallon pots, and 32 quarts of soil with some dolomite; but I wasn't sure if HPS is useless or if there is useable light in there to help them veg if not faster, more thoroughly I guess, only have 1 cfl 23w and 135w ufo.. for vegging 3 plants. I've read few diff opinions on google searches, some say they've used it with no problems as long as heat is controlled, you think that would be beneficial to the seedlings, and perhaps help the overwatering droop the 2 smaller sprouts have? I would keep her good distance above for such small plants atm, but it is only 150w as well.

you can pick up dolomite lime at like lowes got me a 40lb bag of pulverized dolomite for like 5 bucks. they also sell pots and catch pats too. home depot should have it as well. easiest thing to do if you want to find your local hydro shop is like go to fox farm or roots website or something like that and locate the nearest retailer near you.

as for the lights i would wait till your out of seedling stage and then bump up the lighting if it was me. i use a surge protector with like 6 23 watt cfl's for 9 seedlings at a time usually.

ya I'm sure its all available locally, internet order is easier as it comes to my door n I don't have to go out, but I will go ahead n wait on the hps for nao, the oldest one is bout week old, others lil over half week old so gots plenty of time to get things organized, they are just bagseeds but I'd like to get a grow in before popping more attitude ones, tnx ill keep on the ufo/cfl veg for nao.

I got 2 under one cfl and one under the 135w ufo, so perhaps I'm just little overworried.

Whats bad if I'm vegging with one 100 watt grow bulb 3500k and 4 40 watt cfls 2500k and I have 8 plants, but wouldn't u know it the plants are doing great and infact I think the lack of needed light is amaking the fan leaves bigger, but I'd still get the hps

Have not watered in good 2 days, still showing signs of overwatering pretty clearly on this most mature plant, besides drooping her leaves appear quite full, def. going to let her go another day atleast if not more, other 2 are still so-so, 3 and 5 days younger.

my first grow, and second failed... years ago, im on my third but first real one (made past seedlings, and veg, into flower) , made myself as educated as possible and trying to buy everything i can use to help it along the way. so far so good, 4 weeks from harvest (or so... have not checked tri;s cause i have no microscope) so far ive fucked up majorly in my grow 95-100 degrees, bag seed, shit for vents, shit for temps, up untill 3 weeks ago, shit for nutes, and to start shit for soil... yet they do there thing. lol

keep your head up bro, its a learning process... if you didnt fail at first and learn, you would have no respect for the knowledge that you will aquire, being able to produce dank buds. there is a reason everyone does not grow, well one its illegal most places but dont let that deter you... its mostly the knowledge involved. people are lazy, and dont want to learn... to grow outdoors, you need #1 balls of steel... the right season, and good soil, and add a little here and there, but nature does alot of the work for you. indoors, #1 money, #2 knowledge... growing indoors, is great, youll produce the best quality shit money can buy, once you learn how... but in order to really even get started it takes money. for an amature set up, i would estimate 1 thousand dollars... im at 600+ and dont have near the shit i need to do what i need to and my plants are suffering for it in there growing conditions. another couple hundred bucks ill be straight. just gotta know that you need to invest....`

humidity, simply spraying foliar style a few times a day adds a lot, put a huge container of water close to the light to help it evaporate into the air. also, co2, add it... actually, led and cfl..... not much will really evaporate from that, lol. i was thinking more twards the mh, hps... maybe turn your hps on near the other lights directly over a vat of water? or get a humidifier. if a tank of co2 is out of the q, drop some dry ice into your container of water for humidity, and youll be adding both co2 and humidity... genius... lol

fuck pardon me, im drunk... if i was high i would have information of substance, and be better help... sorry.

Mix a shitload of perlite in your new buckets when you get em...check out the World of Hempy thread for an idea on an easy hydro grow that you can use soil in if wanted.

Water evaporates fine under 135w ufo, it will evaporate at any temp above freezing as long as there isn't absolute humidity I believe, but I don't think shes suffering from lack of humidity. I think I'm ok for watering now that I have pH'd it properly, the main reason I was over-watering was to control pH; however since I've started pHing the water to 6.4-6.5; the pH of the soil drying doesn't spike to 8.

My current priority for this small (3 plant) grow, yoyo hangers for the 150w hps, tent, more soil, pots, some filter/venting for the tent. I am currently in about 500$ as well, led was a bit much at 110$ tbh, I coulda prob just tried to get 1 hps and 1 mh or a digital ballast to use diff bulbs in. Hps was 90$ with shipping, window ac 120, ionic nutrients 50$, 100$ in seeds from attitude, few misc things...

I actually sold my last rig to fund my own personal grows, since its becoming legalized in 2014 november where I live for 21 and over, I figured I'd get a little headstart on my own growing experience. I don't mind trial and error too much, its getting easier as far as seedling goes, not really worried about sprouting another one, I will water her with correct pH from the start, once until run off and let dry, lol. =p Just gotta get her through veg and potentially able to feed nutrients, I rather practice this stuff on bag seeds then the attitude plants.

I will throw a little cup in there n see how fast it goes, Its usually around 78-81 depending on what I turn the ac on for temp setting.
