One 6in carbon filter with 2 6in fans pulling 400 cfm and 1 6in 200cfm fan booster on the exhaust
My temps are ranging between 75-85 right now but i hope to have my ac fixed within a week and the temps being in between 70-80
I'm using jungle juice nutrients i put about 4 gallons of water with 3 1/3 tsp of each micro grow and bloom,

I think that's everything about my set up if i left anything out just ask

This is about day 6 for these plants and there is a few things I'm wondering about

The on the right picture front plant is WAY behind the others in heights and roots, i did notice the rockwool its in is still a little wet while the others are dried out, could this effect that?

Also the leaves on all the plants are really starting to not perk up much even with the lights on any ideas whats going on there?

I also forgot to add that's in a 4x4 grow tent, and was wondering how long should I veg? i have a friend who grows in dirt a lot and he said I should probably only veg for 2 weeks, is that right?

Veg as long as you want; As long as it is longer than 2 weeks... geez. I mean do what you want, but I stop vegging based on height/size not based on time frame.
Pretty friends are the best ones to have.

You've got a pretty serious set up for someone just starting out. Did the guy at the hydro shop sell you all this?
Look don't worry about what the plants look like. That's how new growers get themselves in trouble. As long as they aren't dead, they are fine.
It takes a lot to kill cannabis (except for N, it doesn't take a lot of N to kill most anything) so you'll KNOW if you're having problems because the plant will start to droop like a weeping willow and the branches will be soft.

Just don't let it get too hot in there because that will slow growth and possibly kill off young plants.

the box will worth as a lovely speaker for the pumps , also you want that pump higher than the water level , a trick is to hang them on rubber inner tubes way above the plants

a tip ? tape canes to the side of the pots , its alot easier when there small , late in flower when the tops seem to want to hit the floor every friggin night you will thank me

I would check your res temps, those roots look like they are starting to get root rot/brown slime. Frozen water bottles in the buckets work great, i try to keep mine 64-68f.

yeah , the box will increase any sound made plus i recon the pumps will vibrate across it slowly and come together at some point , also its in the way , much better to suspend them up top , no issues of water and elec coming together then either

Viseverca, i used to use buckets with those water level indicators, but they are hit by light and can generate algee. I bought 3 new buckets, cut the handles off and covered the top in chrome duct tape and wrapped the sides with this reflective insulating bubble wrap.
It keeps my res temperatures way more stable, a frozen 500ml bottle will drop my res from 70 degrees to 64 and hold that temp for 12-16 hours before it gets back to 70.

Also would move your air pumps out of the tent, as the air is warmer inside the tent and also when the plants go into the night cycle they emit co2 which in turn would get sucked up by the air pumps.

Just checked the temps it's at 70.5, is that low enough? to help the roots i added h202 and after the 3rd or 4th day I'm adding great white, will this be enough or do i need to get the water colder?

Looks like a really good set-up! Seems like you would get more room in there if you switched to a big container, and put your plants closer together, you could fit 4 30 gal tubs in there with 6 plants in each tub, instead of having each individual plant in a 5 gal bucket. With a 1000 watt light im sure that would be enough to grow 24 plants in a grow tent like the one in your pic. It would also mean you would have less water to deal with with is always helpfull. Thats just my 2 cents but it seems you have it going on in that tent of yours so good luck with the grow.

Thanks man! this is kind of just a test run and i plan to get a aeroponic set up soon.( moving after this grow so ill go a little bigger after the move )

for this grow i need help with 2 things, I need to make a adjustment to help with my res temp, I was thinking if i got longer cords would moving the pumps outside help with the temp at all? what would be the cheapest way to cool my res temp down?

Also I know the goal under that 1000w should be close to 2 pounds but being my first time and still learning and letting them veg for 2-4 weeks what should my goal be?

Well as far as the res temp problem goes, im going to have to cool down mine soon as my plants enter flowering and what i plan on doing is just freezing a bunch of 2 liter soda bottles with water and dropping in one at a time in a test tub i bought as a back up ( that way you dont shock your plants with temp change) until i can get my temp where i want it. Use smaller bottles if you feel that a 2 liter is cooling down the res temp to much. You just gotta play with it, cheapest and easiest way i know how to do it.

Pump Problem- I have a small 130-180 gal pump and i normally have a little over 5 gals of water in at anytime. I dont think small pumps like these make THAT much of a temp difference, now if your using a huge pump and its in with the res then it might cause a problem. I wouldnt go to the trouble of moving the pump outside like that. Try the water bottles and let me know if you have anything else that works better!
