fixture is about 50x30cm cm and can cover 70x50 cm easily but don't spread out the light that much, so got a few small CFLs to hang in the corners to gain some extra light

look cool man but ufo leds are expensive 90w and it only covers 1 plant what i heard ?
but i heard and read abaut that ufos dont make any heat almost correct?

yea a 90w UFO wont cover more then a plant, and your right, next to no heat, like 1-2C more just under them then in the rest of the room, not like the HPS that made my temps jump from 22-24C to 34-36C and around 32C after I got the 150mm ventilation on, and 30C when I did run it at night, fist with a cool hood on the 600W I got it down under 30C (24-28C depending on outdoor temps)

door is right, you can either try to find some tick rubber matting like I did (I had it at work, on roles, so easy)

but a shop that sell curtains and carpet`s aso often have all kind of stuff in role`s also big hardware stores like them Walmart they got in the US, here in DK we have Silvan, they also have some tick rubber/plastic in black on roles and other colors for that matter

or try to google it, be creative the dust door will provide you with the tick zipper with glue on its back (remember to have a total clean material when you add it, I used 99% alcohol to clean my rubber mat and it have lasted a year now) and if it fall of its cheap to replace agin

400W or 250W depend on a lot, with a 125 ventilation Im sure you could keep a 400W specially in the north

a cool tube would be a very clever move IMO with a 400W not only for heat, but also so you can keep it close to the plant`s as that is so important with all artificial light

so with a 125mm vent and a cool tube/hood Im sure heat is controllable then it more come down to space and plant number a 400W can cover 90x90cm roughly and I would say anything from one big plant to 12 tiny once in a SoG, but most common 2-4 a

250W is only good for one I would say maybe 2 smaller once with some CFLs at the sides

go for one that can run both MH for Veg and HPS for flowering or use a few CFLs for Veg. and add the 250/400W in flowering (depend on your budget and how many plant`s you want and space aso)

air pots is ok, I don't like em that much tho, well I don't dislike em, but I have`t seen any thing specially/notable from em compared to my other square pot`s but will be fine all the way just like the square, what is important is to have pot`s that match the size of your plant`s/Veg time and have good drain hole`s

hey so mate i see i forgot put somthing so i planted 2x per closet 60x60x200 = North light or some strains i not sure yet i need now order but don't know what strain ;D
have reading aloot NL is so easy but not so potential so dont dont rly .wonder woman meiby some nirvana seeds or if you know better fast delivery website for scandinavica ?
also i planted to do srog from pvc good idea ? and how much i should put 2x2x2? 3x3x3? the net thing am meaning holes in scrog.

well a easy a nice strain, I even consider to try out on my next run, is Skunk N01 (fist real skunk cross) a easy beginner strain that yield GREAT and with nice balanced smoke, potent with out kicking your feet of the ground, if your in to skunk



the place I normally buy seed`s is at my local hydro shop, small shop with nice guy`s/smokers and a good small option of seed`s to choose from at fair price`s and I like to support em as well, I can see they actually mail to EU (25 dkkk = 3 Euro or so) when I get em to mail it to me (I do live a hours drive from the shop) I get it in a normal white letter inside the seeds is in between some cardboard nice and anonymous

take a look around, they are fair and trustworthy and I normally also get a few freebee seed`s with my orders, last time two triangle Crome or what ever with my 5 LSD Femi seed`s)

and do you have a problem you can always tell me and I can call em and clear it out for you

they take all kind of payment, etc master/visa also bank transfers and everything and fist make the draw when shipped

ok mate i will check this out so but about light u think whit that setup i have the ufo and 2 xcf i can take all smell and heat from 400w or
should i stay in 250w ?

its recommended as a minimum 50w per sq ft.

60 x 60 = 4 sq ft

its better to be 50 watt over than under !

yea I know them would also have liked one, can you tell me where in EU you can buy em ? I don't like paying as much in shipping as the zipper cost, plus taxes from the US, did a search a year ago or so, but could only find em in the US

and about LEDs Vs HIDs

its a choice and a matter of temperament I guess, HIDs give you more bang for your buck here and now so to speak Im sure a 250W HPS would do better then a cheap UFO but only if temperatures aso is spot on/the same, so you would also need more cooling/fan`s

so lots of pro and cons

LEDs IMO is more safe/stealthy and in time cheaper as they use less power, but also cost more to get

up to you Im sure you can get either to work, and after some time if you still like the hobby and want more and have more money you can always expand, thats the easy part, add one more 250W and do a scrog with two in cool tubes or add a UFO more etc.

if it was me personally, just wanted to get started I would probably get a few 20-30W CFLs and get started, do some research and safe up a little more and next month buy a nice little LED fixture for flowering, later on add one more and scrog with two small LED panels but thats me liking LEDs and the little heat/power

Got your PM. Yup, that's a closet. Take out the hanger rod, wont need that.

The cool tubes are heavy so make sure you secure them correctly or it will be a nightmare end to your perfect grow, and maybe a fire too. Secure the hanging hardware into a stud or build a cross brace.

My solution was for flexibility and cleanliness. I used adjustable metal shelf brackets secured to the back wall. Then I installed a couple of metal shelf arm at the top to hang my HID chain.

With this configuration I can move the arms up and down or adjust the chain length. I also installed a wire shelf platform for the plants. Has good air flow and having the shelf above the ground allows for easy clean up.

Just some ideas of what you can do.

As long as you go into a joist that will work. If you go into the drywall it won't hold very long.

use stud finder or nail and hammer to locate joist.

This is what's under the drywall. Fasten your screws to these joists and you will be safe.
