cooltubes are shit ae for reflection etc but 2 fit in a 1,2mtr tent alot better than any other reflectors m8 and that amount of light in such a small space = yield! lol

No clawing at all and they definitely weren't overwatered.
I only noticed little brown spots on the fan leaves last week and as it progressed over the next few days I thought it was a cal/mag issue,now the issues have appeared on the second set.It is growing well and I'm not over worried but nice to catch any probs early.

yeah i tend to delete them off the lappy as soon as i`m done with them too, better safe than sorry .. don`t mind posting them or anything some people have a real problem posting pics, like the coppers will knock the door if they do...

yeah my cfl's aren't too hot themselves but when i open the wardrobe, i get a slight heat blast from the top only cos of heat buildup. i can't imagine the heat build up of a hps system. it's why i try to keep it open as much as possible. although my tiny half powered pc fan keeps the temperature perfect

you can let a plant grow right up to a bulb, but make no mistake cfl`s get hot, especially the higher wattage ones that are self ballasted..
i got about 500w of cfl lights and when there all running it gets mighty warm in there.... you are right tho the hps is serious hot and in confined space can get out of hand if not kept in check..

i have my two top dawg's top about 3 inches away form my 125w's and they're doing fine. but yeah it's the buildup that'll get ya

or the ballasted end of the bulb.... do you have yours hanging like a traditional bulb or sideways or what??? you get better light haveing them sideways as in buds pic`s if you flick back, or pads flouro box....
