I actually met Billy when he came up here to do some interviews on a documentary. Smart kids, a little nuts, but we all are.
Did you interview all of the people in the documentaries yourself?

What other docs have you done? I watch a ton of documentaries. This is crazy.

I know a lot of people who CAN obtain their card but don't out of principle. Some people like the old school guerilla days and don't think it is prudent to bow down to the state for permission to use a plant. I tend to agree with that philosophy.
Maybe so, but when you pulled over by a cop and you have your paper work it makes it worth having. It has for me on a few occasions at least.

my favorite is how everyone used to burn one and get high, now they "medicate", and somehow its superior. Makes me LMFAO. And yes, I have my card, and no, you won't catch me "medicating".
Agreed, I too lmao @ those people.

If you are smoking MJ (or activating the THC in any way), you're not trying to get healthy or using it as a medicine.

You're using it simply to get high.

If you wanted to get healthy and use MJ as a medicine, you would be juicing it.

No negative smoking side effects, doesn't get you high so that you can ingest a lot more of it, allowing MJ's medicinal properties to ACTUALLY work, ect. ect. ect.

Seriously, please post your peer reviewed, reproducible studies that show this. Until you can show me your written study, and it's reproduction by another institution of higher learning it's far to speculative.

This maybe your opinion but it is not mine and mine is just as valid as yours. (Oh and without knowing your credentials all the terrible syntax, grammar and misuse of the most basic english skills makes me think mine might actually be worth more than yours). So until YOU have done that study stop this specious crapola, or go back to school and prove me wrong. I dare you.

Oh and when you are ready to write those studies you'll know it's ETC for et cetera not ECT for electro convulsive therapy. Like this demographic actually needs another negative stereotype, sigh...

(No I am NOT proposing that smoking AS A MODE OF ADMINISTRATION for any drug which is how you will technically say it in your paper is healthy either!)

(and please don't lash back with crap from the internet where I'll have to discuss (1) proper attribution, (2) type of sources, and finally (3) their associated validity based upon type!)

Kudos to this thread. Everybody in a med state that got their caregiver card to grow, is now a fucking doctor? lol EVERYBODY grows for someone with cancer? Or a serious disability? lol I really hope not! I am very thankful for the people in this world who sacrifice their time, energy and resources to help the patients who need it. But be real. The majority of us card holders did it for protection of the law. Being able to help people out was just a perk.

Nothing is more annoying then a weed snob who thinks he knows it all. I have smoked weed consistantly for almost 5 years. My lung capacity has increased immensley. It has made me realize alot and open my mind to new ideas, to think in different ways and question everything. I was on ritilan since 7 years old. That shit KILLED my apetite and made me like a groggy zombie. I quit that and replaced it with cannabis at age 16 and have never felt better for quitting ritalin. So yes i do like to smoke to get high but the medical applications of smoking canabis is endless. Back in the day they used to call getting drunk getting "high". Like willie nelson says, "God put cannabis on the earth and he wants it to grow, who are you to say God is wrong?"

Well I don't live in a medical state, or have a med card, but I use the term medicate because I consider it medicine. I have back, and nerve injuries, and cannabis greatly helps both of those. It also made it much easier for me to get off the chemical pain killers the Drs. had me on after my accident.

Now I agree that I hate when I watch things on tv that show dispensaries and the obvious stoners are in there talking and acting like stoners but then asking about this or that "medicine" almost with a smirk on their faces cus they know they aren't "medicating". That being said, does any of it really matter, without the medical movement we WOULD NOT have the legal states we do, or the spread across the country that has been happening, period! Embrace the change, and the plant so we can work together rather then dividing our community over semantics.
