I've had many experiences with mad labs. But I think it was more over enthusiasm than aggression. Love the things. Would prefer a long haired golden retreiver though. Just seem that bit more friendly for no other reason than the long hair :-) had the most amazing one in the world called Perry when in San Rafiel. Think if I were to get a dog to compliment the kitties, it would be a white a liver springer spaniel :-) awesome dogs.

Your animals look fantastic btw M&MF. Just love when kitties stretch out in such ridiculous positions, damned near falling off everything they cam just to stretch that little but more.

Thanks & funny that you mention...................... I also have a chocolate & a long hair lab too! I just couldn't
decide! :?:
The Black, white & one of the chocolate labs shown here are mine.(left w/no collar)

& this is the long haired

The chocolate lab was given to me by someone that couldn't keep him & was eventually deployed to Iraq. The golden long haired was rescued from a very bad situation that I just could no longer watch & allow. I understand that sometimes things go bad & wrong in life, but It's too bad that seemingly mature people choose to take on another life, or lives, without fully intending on following through. Taking in pets while knowing that they lack the resources to provide basic necessities for a quality life.
Hands are pretty full & it's two more than I ever planned on ......but due to their good nature & well manners.......things are going much better, for all, than I expected.

Well you guys read me well & I must confess!.... that's MY whole gang & I promise I won't be pulling any rabbits out of my hat on a mention.

This is Gretch.. she has been placed inside of knee brace to see if the "thundershirt" works...

anyone own one?

I am very worried about this puppy as it was owned by my g' folks for about 2 years, she is still mentally a puppy.. loves to play.. loves to lick anything withing licking distance.. she has an abnormal licking or oral fixation.. she will literally lick the air.
growls with the people she knows inside the house.. yet is a pushover.. my roxy keeps her ass in line.. but I dont want this pup to stress either.. she is FULL of energy..

I put her in a knee brace and she just stood there..
