My buds have been growing nicely but the last few days I've noticed they have a lot of new bud growth that is pretty stretchy. Can you guys tell me if this is fox tailing? I hope it fills in like the rest has. Pic one has it growing straight at the camera. The tops of all buds are doing it and its starting to show around the sides. Critical Jack. Dwc, fox farm. Anyone?

Yep, that's looking like the start of foxtailing, and along with the curled leaves, I have to ask if your temps at leaf level are up in the 80's?feb26pic1_zpsbf36089f.jpg
See about halfway up, on the left side?
That thing sticking out is foxtailing starting.
Some say from heat, some say from strain, but some say other stuff.
I think mine started doing it because of heat.

I'm at 58 days of flowering. It's a clone from a 12 week finisher. Yes, my temps have raised to about 80.
Hm.
Sounds similar to mine in the pic, I finished at about 11 weeks, I flipped on Dec 6, and chopped on March 3.
My plant started doing it after I got up in the mid 80's a couple nights when I wasn't paying attention.

I thought fox tailing happens later in flower than that. All of his pistals are still white. Everytime i see foxtails theyre when its done and all the sudden it spits out new growth, like yours. His looks to young to me but im no officianato. Any other opinions? More pics please :):):)

Sorry man, I don't have but one or two close-ups like that, but if you mention it to Beech, he might have some info or pics.
He was the first one to notice in the pics that mine was doing it when I was posting my last thread.

Ok. Sounds all good then. I was worried because I haven't seen it this bad before.
Nah, don't worry, but if me, I would back off on the N just a touch, but keep up with everything else.
Excess N late in flower can prolong or even stop flowering, and it looks like you're plenty dark there.

Yes I know. I was just being not so funny. So I put my intake fan back in its original place. My temps have been higher since I moved it. Lets hope it gets cooler like it was.
Dude, you know Dank doesn't mind, he likes the good conversation.
He will be back Friday, had some family stuff to do tomorrow.(Today, Thursday)

I took it out due to the smell. With the intake fan in the port slot I lost negative pressure and the smell was getting to be an issue. Bt I think I've got it whooped now. Lower slot has intake fan blowing 24/7. Exhaust hangs from ceiling as follows: Carbon filter to inline fan running 24/7 to cool tube w/1k hps to inline fan running on timer with lights to exhaust port on ceiling. Right now lights are off which means one inline fan is running with the intake fan on floor port and she's got negative pressure. She'll definitely have negative pressure once the lights turn on the other inline fan. I'm hoping this gets my temps back to 70-72 while lights are on.
