Grow Tent: How many plants??

I have a grow tent that is 100 x 100 x 180 (cm) as you can see in the attached picture. I am using a 600 W HPS, I have an an inline extractor fan and filter together with 2 smaller fans for circulation. I also have a fan pushing clean fresh air into the bottom of the tent.

I currently have 15 plants that I have been flowering for 5 days and so far I can tell that 12 are females and the rest still have not shown if they are girls or boys. I am growing in 3 litre pots filled with soil/compost.

All my plants were from bagseed so I do not know the variety. They are doing well and my question is how many plants should I be growing in the space I have, to gain maximum yield?

1 plant per square foot for SOG? maybe you should stick to politics


in SOG you can go from 1-4 plants per square foot ...

trim them up! they will need it. it will help with PM and other air circulation problems!

Mnay thanks for your reply, however I do not intend going down the SOG route as I am a new to growing and want to keep things simple.

I have decided that 9 will be sufficient, the rest will just have to go outside.

re "maybe you should stick to politics"; I am afraid I do not understand what you are going on about.:confused:
