Just made some ISO wash hash oil from a bag of trim I forgot I had....

As I'm running low on smoke between harvests here, I happened to find a rather large bag of trim while cleaning out a closet and I thought what a great opportunity it would be to make some quick wash iso hash oil as an experiment.

I unfortunately made the classic rookie mistake of shaking too long (less than 1 minute but too long still) and there was too much chlorophyll in the mixture which resulted in dark oil but potent nonetheless.


Anyhow, I got about 2 grams of sticky icky potent hash oil from the whole process. Fairly easy and only cost me $4 in iso.

Are you using less than 99% ISO ? It would appear so by the looks of this extract . I have used 91 % Iso in the past but never again as it is not the same as 99 nor is the extracts made from such .

Hope your able to keep your eyes open Jonny lol , I have a baby food jar of ISO oil and now I think its time to dab and get slanted eyes once again .

91% iso makes good oil to cook with but not smoke. 99% if you can get it.

I didn't really weigh it but if I was a bettin man I'd put my money on about an ounce or so. I was actually surprised with the results...I just didn't expect to get as much as I did.

Jonny was a victim of convenience on this little endeavor as all that could be sourced locally was 91% which still does just as well - it just requires a bit of patience to let the water evaporate naturally overnight. Jonny is a patient person so this is no problem for me...I will say this shit is unbelievably hard to work with. Whatever it touches - it sticks to like krazy glue...it's even hard to wash the shit off your hands with the 91% ISO.

i dropped a couple drips of oil on my stove and counter. the gf didnt like it, her bill got stuck to the counter and ripped. LOL

Looks great dude. i use 91%, as 99 is very hard to find. Nail salons normalls have gallon of 99% for about 25.00. its where i got mine from. 12 mile and dequindre rds. nail salon in the orielies strip mall.

Keeping it frozen works good. I also use a SilPat baking silicone pad. I think it helps alot! I just made some with the rest of my 99% and have made it with 91% also. Makes some kick ass Brownies!!! PEACE

Whatever you do, don't drop it on the kitchen floor when it's a frozen chunk. Little shards of sticky oil all over isn't fun.

or how about the first and last time I made glycerin tincture...had it pretty much done pulled it out of it's final hot water bath..

--by the lid. used a TON of good trim too..BOOM. haha trial and error.

I am sure if one wanted they could collect a grams worth of oil and hash by scraping around my kitchen lol . I have a dab shelf in a kitchen cupboard and it is most sticky due to spills and drips and such . It is a bonus though for me , as things stay in place most times not .

Just goto Meijers bro i live in that vacinity i live central to all 3 meijers (troy,commerce,southfield) they have 2 cups (160z) bottle of 99% for $0.99 a bottle great stuff the extra 8% makes a crazy difference you will notice it i promise you brotha please give me a "LIKE" if i helped you in any way i will return the favor to all thank you!!
