alright darren hows things dude, great to know your still alive....
on the root rot.. no it would if it was stagnant but as you feed when needed the "res" is never stagnant also its basicly wet stones with "some" water in there, the plants wick it up as needed, also you flush them every now and then so they get fresh water, if you are ever concerned all you have to do is slightly tip the buckets with the hole faceing the floor and drain them, or simplly keep the water comeing and it will run off through the holes...
works a treat, been doing it about a year now and no problems at all...
