is 1000w too much for a 4x4 grow tent?

do u think i should dim my 1000w down.. or is 4x4 just perfect for 1000w? if u look at some of my other post u will see the yellowing tips but its only on the top i m wondering if im burning em? my ph seems to be fine.. 6.8 in soil from the run off..

how far away is the light from the canopy?

probably burning them, the 1000 tosses off allot of heat.
what are your temps? are you exhausting the hot air
and bringing in cool air?

i run 1000's in 5x5 with no problem. if youre running air cooled hoods and your temps are normal than it shouldnt be an issue. you just need to keep the lights about 16" away from the canopy top. brighter light= bigger buds

im about 18" from it.. and i the exhaust pulling thru the cool hood xxxl is going straight out the house.. so its not recycling hte same hot air.. and the cool air is coming in from the basement.. so not sure..temps at the top of the buckets where my tempature gauage is .. is at between 75 and 78 and its about 65 to 68 at night

Throw your thermometer up to the top of the canopy to get a better reading. There is a huge
temp difference between 12'" and 24" with a 1000w.
