Slowww grower, any ideas?

Got an auto blew pyramid seedling in a single plant grow box, it's at ten days today and looks about 2-3 days old. Runoff is PH'd at 6.6, under 2 20w cfls about an inch from the top of the plant, the soil is a cheap potting compost called natigrow or something, I'm not sure. Basically the plant looks healthy and happy, but it's just not growing :/ humidity is at 30ish% temperature is 80-85, it couldn't possibly be root bound, (only in a half gallon pot at the moment but wayyy too small to be). One thing is it got its shell stuck on for about 12 hours after emerging, there was a slight resistance as I removed it, and one of the 'starting leaves' has stayed tiny. Have I messed it up/stunted it? Any help greatly appreciated,
A.

well- it's a little hot for a vegging plant- you want to get it below 80f...
And your soil may be too dense for the roots-- compost is never meant to be used alone as a soil- it has a high nitrogen level and can stunt/burn your plant...

A photo would be helpful-- what are you judging it's growth against-- the same type of seeds or something else you grew?
Every strain is different-- some take off like a shot others are slow to start then take off... but almost ALL autos are small and stay that way.. especially under CFL's!

I veg indoors in the mid-upper 80's, no problems. I grow outdoors, and during veg (July - Aug) the temps commonly are 90s too 100+. Last year 14 days at or over 100. No problems.

And compost is loose and fluffy, not dense.

Thats the girl there, seeing a small amount of new growth all of a sudden, the soil isn't compost, my mistake, it's just regular soil used in flower beds, mixed with wood clippings for drainage, I'm 99% it's not the soil, it was flushed before use and there's no sign of nute burn. In regards to heat, I think you may have been right, the earlier problem I had with overwatering combined with high temps and low humidity probably was causing the plant to loose water faster than it could get it from an underdeveloped root system. I did notice some leaf cupping as you can probably see, which says to me it was low on water. I'm pipetting water on to the leaf surface and have lowered temps to mid 70's. aimaim, what humidity did you veg at indoors? And did you Notice any signs if an undeveloped root system? Ill keep you posted as to whether my problem is sorted over the next couple of days, until then, thanks for your input and happy smoking :) A
