No guns no USA. No USA, no you and me (presumable) I'm sorry if a historical perspective is startling but, this is the RIGHTS to keep and hold my territory, my home, my person. I can't do that very well since the invaders are highly armed, can I? I have the Right to arm myself no matter what you think. It's law.

The Right for us to have modern battle weapons include the right to not have to explain it beyond this.

When I was young and naive, I use to like Reagan... But, then again, I was young and naive.
Since then, I have come to realize that there hasn't been an honest man in the White House since Jimmy Carter... And before him, probably Andrew Jackson.
LadyZandra is right... Don't judge Obama by his skin color, judge him by his actions and failed promises. Are we sure this guy is really black?

we have a gun culture because we are required to have it
based on our Founding Docs
We fought to be individual sovereigns and not Crown Subjects. We set up a system the opposite of that. We knew the British are sneaky. WE included language to insure we maintained the gun culture
WE included the most potent concept 9th A
WE made sure from the beginning we would not end up like Commonwealth Subjects.
So there is the main difference.
