So I have this plant and I just havested but I noticed some very small leaves at the base of the plant. The leaves seem to be growing. I noticed these small leaves a super long time ago but I didn't think too much of it then and I damaged the leaves on the other side. It's too small now but if the small leaves grow bigger I'll take a picture of it

It doesn't make sense to me though why is it regrowing itself I never gave it 24/7 light. It has been outdoors for the last month. Why is it still alive? I thought marijuana was an annual plant and dies after its done growing why is this plant have a second chance at flowering? I think it would be pretty cool to just keep flowering and regrowing this plant over and over again since to me this plant is a freak of nature.

Is there something I should do to the top of the plant its leaking out water and I'm afraid it might get moldy or rot and die.

You can re-veg marijuana. Most of all things can are wood will usually come back, like trees, I think. If that's the case then you have your plant back

So you can see the top part where I cut off the rest of the plant and you can start to see the little leaves that are growing.

The leaves are arising from advantitous buds. Read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adventitiousness#Adventitious_buds_and_shoots

Many if not most plants have them. They are dormant buds hidden all over the plant that can arise and initiate new growth if needed.

It's not necessarily trying to reveg, per se, it's just wanting to throw out some leaves and try to stay alive. The cut stem looks really small, pencil sized, like it was a real immature plant. Immature and juvenile plants are more likely to put out new growth from adventitous buds, than older mature plants, no matter what type of plant.

Do you know if it will grow as a normal plant or will it eventually just give up and die?

IMO It will never really grow as a normal plant. It will struggle just to stay alive initially, wanting to grow leaves to support the root system left, and not have enough excess energy to put on vigorous growth or flower production. Gonna be stunted however long it lives. You might nurse it along and get a toke or two but I'd toss it and use the grow space for a new vigorous plant, you'll be way ahead in the long run.

Did you read the part where he states he has it outdoors/and or/using direct sunlight for it?

To OP: Can you maybe shed some light on where the hell you are located geographically? The plants health/viability totally depends on how much light it is receiving and temperatures as well! If you were flowing outdoors and were moving the plant continuously, then there is a greater chance that you messed up and they plant is now doing what it is supposed to do..... LIVE!

Oh well I live in southern California. So far I think it's going to survive unless it dies of mold or something since the center of the stem is exposed.
