Jeff from area51 def helped out ill say that much lol. Ill be using them in a 5.5 x7.5ft area so I needed that many to completely cover my basis.

Good to see the new lights in action Brother Dawg. Did my eyes read the quiet post right? Super duper quiet? That's the only way I thought the older lights could have improved. I am still on the fence but if they are as quiest as you say that could be the selling point for me. That's the only thing that worries me in my gardens right now. The sound of the old 51's. I have a neighbor who seems to be getting a bit nosey. If I can kill the noise I will be in great shape. Thanks for all your contributions Brother Dawg. Very appreciative.

Brother Dawg. Yes yes I am a proud owner of 4 A-51 lights. I have a 240, a 220, a 135, and a 90. The 220 is the loudest of the four but the 240 is pretty loud. I live in a very confined area and my tents are separated by a thin wall from my neighbors garage. With fans and lights going it can get pretty loud on the quiet nights. Being a garage I don't worry too much but it's still a concern.

I have a BC Northern Lights Producer that is a pretty big machine. The 4 lights from a-51 are about as loud as that machine. Noise would not be a problem if I didn't live where I did.
