I'd go with a 400W HPS, but you could probably go with a 250W..... but if you want good results, go with a 400W. you can veg under that as well.

I got a 150w floralux from htgsupply that I use for my flowering, n i use 2 23w cfls in a different spot for my veg. I was gonna use cfls for flowering too, but when I saw how many more lumens I could get from a 150w hps than a 150w cfl, I had to get it....why don't you check out the cfl forum?

no foil? - how come. just curiouse - i have never grown indoors and from my 'research' using foil helps get the lights to the bottom of the plant. t hat is why i was going to try it. - i will try it w/o

foil creates hot spots.... concentrates the light in certain areas. it will burn your leaves.

use flat white paint, or mylar.......

and it gets fckd up real easy too, like orecal says, flat white paint or mylar

by using mylar you are reflecting 90% of the light being shown on it where as foil only reflects about 45% and as ORECAL said it creates hot spots
