Hey, I don't want to sound like I don't appreciate the response cuz I do... but that wasn't really my question, I already fully understand the growing cycle of this plant indoor and out as I have done this for a few years. If you could answer my more in depth questions that would be great! Thanks! Will eventually revegg depending on where you live, typically fall is when these girls finish off, you started at the wrong time of year, finish flowering indoors.
Peace
lol, I feel like maybe I should have worded my post differently... I don't really care about these plants finishing.. I'm more interested to see what happens if I leave them going. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with putting plants out real early like this. My MAIN question is; when it reverts back to veg, what happens to the bud that has already grown? Does it die and fall off like dead leaves? Should I go through and snip it off? Or just fully cut the tops off like you do in an indoor re-veg? They are not auto flower so I'm pretty certain they are transitioning back to vegetative growth right now and just don't want to see the stuff its already grown go to waste. THANKS!Don't worry about the rep but, if you can't bring them inside to flower either cover them every night with a black trashbag for 12 hours or chop off all the buds feed it some N and reveg it. Too bad they look pretty nice.
Dude! Right!? I just put them straight in ground in the beginning of November, with just a little top coat of organic soil and they are fucking BEAUTIFUL... the pictures don't do the color justice.. just the nicest shade of green, also a very sturdy structure, they put my indoor shit to shame. I'm thinking the freedom of the roots has a lot to do with it.. Also, I had chopped them in half a few times to keep them in this very short space as it was the only place I had room.Don't worry about the rep but, if you can't bring them inside to flower either cover them every night with a black trashbag for 12 hours or chop off all the buds feed it some N and reveg it. I missed that when I first read your answer for some reason... that's pretty much what I'm looking for. Will the buds that are there just wither up if I leave them there? Do you think I should cut them now? Or will the bud continue to mature even as the plant is re-vegging?chop off all the buds feed it some N and reveg it. Too bad they look pretty nice.
New leaves start to come out where the sugar leaves are. It acts stunned and sort of sits for weeks without doing anything then it begins to push out new leaves that look sort of like the are unscrewing themselves, ie they start out quite curly and as they ease back into veg they leaves straighten out.......snip.......My MAIN question is; when it reverts back to veg, what happens to the bud that has already grown?
No, matter of fact if you snip the small bud off the terminal end of the limbs then they seem to come around a little quicker.Does it die and fall off like dead leaves?
This is a matter of preference. I leave them on if I want it to be slow and I pinch them off if I want them to re-veg quicker.Should I go through and snip it off?
Really? I don't do that indoor. I pinch off just the top bud site and it works.Or just fully cut the tops off like you do in an indoor re-veg?
K, that's what I was looking for. Ill probably do it tomorrow morningChop them off! They are going to rot off anyway. Cut it down to around a foot. Leave 6-8 branches with a popcorn bud or two on them and reveg.
Yes and fall off by themselves. It takes longer for the plant to do it. If you snip/pinch or trim if the colas are huge. If you have huge colas and are significantly into flower then trash bag it and take a harvest off the top and upper sides. Then allow it to re-veg so you get 2 harvests. That would be a cool experiment. LOLI missed that when I first read your answer for some reason... that's pretty much what I'm looking for. now im getting mixed reviews, others say the bud will die off as the plant starts vegetating againNew leaves start to come out where the sugar leaves are. By the way if you are familiar with indoor re-veg just generalize your experience to outdoors.
hth,
Ohh I see what you are saying... I'm actually just letting the plants run their course, I'm not worried about making them re-veg.. more about what will happened to the surprising amount of bud it put off in a short time...Yes and fall off by themselves. I sorta want to try this, but if they have already begun to re-veg I'm worried that trash bagging them now would cause hermie. Thoguhts?Yes and fall off by themselves. Yep I will go with that to, the bud won't be any goodit has to be mature so don't bother with it. new age United has it.I'm not too sure bro, it does make sense that the bud would die off so I would just re-top. Thanks for the rep
There are TONS of milky trichomes though... remember its been out there since early February.. that's 2 months of flowering. Most of the hairs are still white but I have done large scale work with this strain in the past and remember that the hairs generally stay mostly white right up until you cut them. The buds aren't real big but I also never fed them so I'm thinking they might be pretty close to mature.Yep I will go with that to, the bud won't be any goodit has to be mature so don't bother with it. new age United has it.
