6/6/6/6 lighting cycle what is it? HELP!!

So I heard about this six hours on six hours off light cycles a few places but no where was clear about weather u would use it to veg or flower. I fist thought maybe flower bc it's kinda like a 12/12, but one place said something about how 6/6/6/6 is better for growth and your electic bill, do I'm kinda confused anyone who knows anything about it could u help please

ridiculous, it would stress the hell out of a cannabis plant, i would not do this, NO WHERE in nature does this happen, ive never heard of doing this nor do i see the benefit at all, more harm than good, sounds like a hermie in the making, i wanna hear other members opinion, Im not shitting on your parade so please dont take it that way!!!

also wanna add that veg would never help this way as the dark to light ratio is not long enough consistantly really for neithr veg or flower, but especially veg, the more light, the better, flower 12/12 i always gonna be your best bet, im doing 12 1/2 dark 11 1/2 light, but this is as much change as i would ever stray from 12/12

Yeah I just really wanted to know more about it so don't feel bad about shooting it Down and I didn't plan on trying it unless I got like a shit ton of people saying it worked, which I didn't think would happen anyway
