Has ne one seen/used those LED spotlights from HTG Supply? I was wondering if they provide enough lumens for substantial growth. Thinking about growing in a stealth cab and since they dont produce much heat just wondering if the light would be powerful enough to grow some dank shit. I know I would need probably 4 or 5 depending on the size of my cab but I'm thinkin one of those rubbermaid setups that I have seen before. Comments highly appreciated cause I've never grown before and am lookin for information so I can have lots of knowledge before starting. Thanks.

from what i've heard LED buds are very airy, and stringy. Much more practical to use LEDS for veg only. If you wanna call it practical at all.

They are getting there, but i think it is going to be a few years at least before the technology of leds progresses enough to produce the intensity of light necessary for stromg dense bud growth. Once they are there, i'm on board, but not yet. Hid is still the way to go for flowering.

i tried some of those spotlights...you need about 10 of them per plant...i was getting really slow growth and in some cases no growth....if you want to properly grow with leds you are going to be spending a ton of cash to do so

Dont LED stimulate Trichome growth? because UV rays are what THC is protecting the plant from. or do LED's even produce UV?
