What are my chances for success? Plus a question or two

I'm on my first grow, its a mystery seed I got from a bag of mids I had. I've read some guides and done some research on growing but some of the answers I find are contridicting with answers I find from other guides. So it leaves me confused on whether or not I'm wasting my time or I actually have a chance to yield something.

MY set up is

Location: Small area 4ft by 3ft enclosed covered in tin foil.
Lights: 2 grow lights from wal mart 75 Watts each 24 hrs a day for now
Pots one seedling in a black plastic pot cheap potting soil, 5 seedlings in a 2 liter bottle regular dirt.
I do not have ventilation System.
Water once every other day, and use miracle grow orchid food spray (30% Nitrogen) (10% Phosphate) (10% Soluble potash) twice a week

Do you think my plants have a chance to yield?

And also what would be a safe way to transplant the seedlings into their own pot?

Where to begin...

First post a pic

Second - if you got 5 seedlings in a 2 liter bottle... why did you do that? Doing nothing but causing yourself problems. Safe way to transplant - try to scoop out a seedling farthest away from the group of 5 with a spoon. where you can get as many roots as possible. Leave the others in place and choose one to grow.

Third - watering every other day probably not cool for seedlings.

Fourth - Chance the plants will yield? Unless you get some basics figured out quick I'd not be planning on much smoke from this grow. But keep plugging away and learning, thats what it's all about.

Good luck

If they're female they will yield. How much? anywhere from 1/8oz-38 million pounds.

Without ventilation you won't be successful, plants need constant air circulation, seedlings should be in seperate containers, not a good idea to place more than one in a container, flat white walls are better than aluminum foil.

The seedlings in the two liter bottle were before I did any research on growing, how often should they be watered?

I will post some pics in a few

Well get some pics up.

They should be watered as often as they need it. Sorry if that comes off sounding smart-ass but that's the way it is. We have no idea the size of your plants or the containers they are in. New seedlings I water from above with a spray mister and try to guesstimate that the moisture is getting a couple inches deep.

Many factors influence the need for watering: soil composition, air temp, air flow across the pots, humidity of the grow area, pot size, etc and more etc.

You are asking questions that can't really be answered with the limited information you have provided.

You'll get help here but broad expansive questions get broad responsive answers that are usually not a lot of help.

Best of luck!- AIM

SlickAndNew is another one-shot Hero that has figured out he doesn't know enough about the process to ask a logical question.

He'll pick up some terminology in biology next semester in Sophomore biology and be back.
