4th week Kush: Flowering

Kush, first grow, at the end of week 4 of flowering. They smell awesome, and the trichs are transparent / milky. No amber ones yet. Just gave them Big Bud and Blood bud.

They do look nice, don't they for a grow under CFL and for condensed plants...?

Starting week 5 tomorrow, and I have some final phase from Advanced Nutrients for the flush during the last week. My research told me kush flower indoors for 8 to 9 weeks. So I am thinking of waiting two more weeks and then start the flush, unless I see amber trichs appear sooner. Any suggestions?

Plan on harvesting sometime after 9 weeks.Looking good.

Don't let excitement take hold of you and make you chop em too early. Don't plan on a certain amount of time just go with the flow.

Well, I just got through harvesting 2 of my 8 Ball Kush, I have had this same strain now cloning for working on over a year, its working on its 7th generation. I have to say it has got better, taste,stronger, appeal over the time I have had it going. And for the most part it sorta looked like the cola's in the pictures, I would wait until just about all of those "white hairs" would recess back into the calyxes, and also in the mean time be checking the trichs with mymy jewlers loupe, and wait for them to go amber before I harvested. They are curing right now, off the two I harvested I ended up getting close to 4 ounces off each the two. I am sure the dried weight will be under 4 zips each, but damn close!! I am happy with the return. I just hope the smell comes back that was with it while it was flowering. It has that damn hay smell to it now while its curing!!

Is there anything else I should be doing...? I am kind of wondering about the temperature change between lights on and off... Lights on is about 28 Celsius, lights off is about 17 Celsius. Is that too cold during the lights off phase? It cools and warms up gradually though like it would be doing outside...

The humidity is between 35 and 40, I read somewhere that flowers do not like too much moisture, is that okay?

Hey dude, during my first grow the temps for me were around 8c/10c during lights off, up to around 28c/30c lights on, and it came out fine, just slowed my veg growth down a bit. Humidity is fine, basic rule is over 50% for veg, under 50% for flowering, but on my current grow its been 20% the whole time with no issues. I think low humidity is better than high in nearly all situations.
