ok im goin with a room 12x12ft

seems if you want to go nuts and max it out you could get 4 600 watt hps lights

or maybe 2 1000 watt lights

or even 4 400 watt lights

can put like maybe 12 - 20 plants in there depending on size of the plants,

should yield 4-5 lbs per grow if you do it right

anyway this is just an educated guess,

i have a 5x5ft room with one 400 watt and one 600 watt light about 6 plants and i get right about 2 lbs per grow.

Welcome to the forum. You will get hundreds of answers. I would suggest you read through the first few pages of Al B Fucts fine journal, Get a Harvest Every Two Weeks Al is on vacation right now, he has a good friend watching things for him while he is away so you could still ask questions. This will give you an excellent idea of what can be done in a room that size. The planning should start with the physical plant, air handling sytem, electrical, plumbing and sewer should all be in place before plants go in the room. Any insulating you can do to isolate the room from the surrounding rooms should be done now as well. Since Al lives in Australia he will be familair with the enviroment variables you are likely to encounter, it was minus 2c here at 6:00 am so I might not be a good source for your setup. He does mention a dehumidifier is essential, like maybe a 40% difference, if I recall. VV:blsmoke:
