can i switch my 12 12?

all my plants are in 12/12. is it possible for me to move half of them to the opposite schedule? like get half with lights on during day half at nite without fucking them up too bad.. i would leave the one half i am moving in the dark an extra 12 hrs. i know extra dark is better than extra light. is this posssible without causing too much stress

has anyone done this b4? any help would be great. ps they are about 2 weeks since i flipped lights. they just stretched so much i've gotta move some to new room on opposite schedule. thanks for any help

Yeah its fine just make the switch a dark period rather than 24hrs of light. I've done this tons of times.

make sure they are separated though. The ones doing 12/12 need to be in the dark during the off time and can't have any light leak from the 24 area. They may stop growing for a few days to a week due to the change so don't freak if you don't see them doing anything

I had a grow a couple times ago where my light timer was all messed up and would sometimes stay on for 24 hrs in flower and None of my 6 plants hermied. And it happened more than once haha. In flower darkness is better than extended light. Some people here actually think that an extended dark period helps the flowering process but I haven't seen any evidence of that. Good luck man

i kept my light off in flower for 26 hours to change the time with no problems. If that's what you're asking
