why dont i think of these things? just assumed i would have to have an explosion waiting to happen pressurised bottle somewhere, bit dramatic i know, but didn't fancy it. now i see a harmless looking bottle of 'stuff' does the trick??? i must learn more... lol
im deffo gonna give it a go, is it just the normal block of yeast or brewers yeast?? if they're different...lol np man, its worth the effort, some dissagree but i say it is...no proof just from what i have seen. mine gets neglected but when i was swapping it 2x a week it was giving good results
You are correct. Brewer's yeast has the genetics to survive the higher alcohol levels.. lasts longer... I must say I didn't do the CO2 like I did my first round and I think it actually gave me some extra weight..i just use reg bread yeast, brewers yeast may work a little better though im not sure to be honest
man, you are a legend and i love you... kind of lol. thanks for helping my lazy ass out dude!supplie needed:
x2 empty 2l bottles
pack of brewers yeast
sugar
water
plastic tubing.
mix water suger and yeast in one 2l then make a hole in the lid for the plastic tubing, run the plastic tubing from the top of the 2l containing yeast solution into the air or into the other 2l filled with water so you can see the co2 bubble out.
