it's called personal preference.. if it taste like shit then next time flush, the whole thing here is if its not broke don't fix it.. growers for years have done this outside with only rain and god.. so why the big deal.. all plants intake nutes weather you feed them nutes or they get it from the soil.. either way they get nutes.. and when you grow outside it intakes natural nutes that are in the soil.. let mother nature do the trick.. it doens rain with a npk ratio does it no so just grow and smoke like we have done for hundreds of years.. its just like a light leak in a grow room ,, its not pitch black outside at night is it NOOOO even on a partial full moon there is a lot of light.. so were back to personal preference.. if its shitty then flush it if not just smoke it..

just to correct you about 1 thing, the sun reflects off the moon, the light you see has no photosynthetic active radiation like a light bulb or sun shining in from outside does.

To all those relying on their senses to decide this issue please just don't pass the joint to me without flushing it. It seems masochistic to smoke something that is sitting in chemicals and potentially criminal to "share" it. This issue is so old I cannot believe people are still debating it. myself included. Organics, I am going to flush because it tastes and smells better to me. Same with chems just harder, longer, and because it seems better to err on the side of caution than smoke Barium on my bongload. Is this laziness becoming the norm? I don't play with anyones' potential welfare like that. Even if it is pointless, nobody knows that and can prove it very well. The product, once science answers us here, is only half, I am disturbed by the willingness to call it preference rather than by what it really is....SLOTH and GREED.

You would not be able to tell my weed is not flushed.

Buds do not store fertilizer. Spreading lies is not criminal.

go for it.

Are you saying that buds store fertilizer?

I used to flush because I believed bullshit like you posted. I don't any more. My weed is better now.
I want better weed so I feed properly and don't flush.

Why aren't any fruits and vegetables flushed? How come corn does not taste like chemicals?

I notice a similar difference to the OP when I don't flush too(even using organics). Anyone saying I don't is frankly arrogant and wrong. Just like I would be if I claimed their empirical observations were wrong. Flush if you prefer, don't if you prefer. I know what is best for me.

^ If all the corn you eat has chemicals in it, how would you know what it would taste like without?
Are you saying all produce tastes like chemicals and we just don't know it?
I grow my own corn and eat corn from the store. My lettuce tastes just like lettuce from the store.
Are you saying that marijuana stores fertilizer in the buds?

Organic food is not grown with toxins, no flush required. Also I don't burn lettuce in a bong. Read my words again...I made no claims, I don't trust your competency that's all, you haven't proven anything you say to be true. I am unimpressed....that chem you arent smoking every day is affecting your comprehension. My cannabis is top shelf and I flush. Eat a bag of Alzheimers.

you have 0 evidence in your favor.I am unimpressed. Guess what, organics break down nutrients into the same form as synthetics, so what else you got?

Also don't forget that with organics its almost impossible to flush.

And that by flushing you are damaging the plants rhizosphere and the friendlies contained therein.

Too much plain water flushing also causes the roots to go into reverse osmosis mode due to a MASSIVE decrease in rootzone EC.

I will remain skeptical about your reading skills, you are the party that has the obligation to prove what you claim is a healthy practice. I argue for caution because I DO NOT KNOW and neither do you.

If you start with a decent soil mix and add nutes judiciously and don't let pH get too crazy you will grow fine plants. Period. The majority of problems I observe with growing the plant are people who see a little brown blotch or yellow leaf tip and freak out. They start jacking around with the soil chemistry every watering and soon thereafter it IS all fucked up and they never know why because they were changing half a dozen things at a time.
