do you know what thats like. i lived in a squat when i was a teen. they still take everything for granted. they have everything to become self sestaining without any attachment ot government or even local businesss such as but not limited too. clothing outlets, food stores, drugstores(cvs eccords walgreens), hardware stores ,even not using city services that you pay taxes for such as electric(solar,wind,bio) water( recycle what you have and rain) ect. the idea is to take what they WONT sell, its in the dumpster right off the self( new digital cameras books,clothes, the food = compost matieral, use craigslist for what you cant find and freecycle for everything else.
the point is it can work , but no one will take it seriously they take it for granted and when you finally get to the point where people can take it somewhere. they fell like its work rather than something thats embodies a belief of something better not worse.

They aren't enforced. They are just known by the community. And it doesn't matter if there is a monkey with a bigger stick when no one has shit for the monkey to take from them. Let him wave his stick around all day, but he should just go to the surrounding city where there is real "civilization" to harass.
