What are the pros and cons of buying feminized seeds vs regular seeds. Is it worth the extra money, is the quality of fem seeds the same as regular? Ive been a cloner for several years and look forward to starting from scratch, and I know its not a done deal either way;everything takes work.:peace:

The quality is the same. Some will say that fems herm a lot but that's not true if you don't stress them. I've been growing for about a year and haven't had a herm yet. I've haven't grown regular seeds yet. If you're not a beginner at growing then you should be able to grow them out with no problems. I've loved them so far but I'm ready to get a male in the bunch and try a breeding. Good luck with your ventures.

unless you want male plants its worth the extra money. say for example if you get 10 regular seeds for 20$ or 10 fem seeds for 30$ with the reg seeds u will get 50% male so your really getting 5 plants for 20$ where with the fem seeds you woulda got 10 plants for 30$.
these numbers are made up entirly on the spot

Sorry,I have to disagree....fem seeds are just a gimmic..and stress under not so perfect situations...I have wasted money on them and will never again..it's not natural..

Why the hell do you want less than perfect conditions? If its just right then you'll have no problems.
And you didn't waste money on them. You wasted your seeds with bad conditions. Sorry but its the truth.

Out of all the fem seeds I've grown, I've only had one to ever hermie and I'm pretty sure that's because it was a Nirvana seed and they aren't known for their stable genetics.

If your growing conditions are good then feminized seeds are the way to go.

I only start 1 seed when my last batch clones are rooted then i go from that seed.

Cheaper and less risky for me.
