Hey All,


Every once in a while a strain that I know nothing about gets me really excited and this is one of them. It's make up is Oaxacan x Iranian and Doc says it's about 70% sativa dom. I'm anticipating some old school flavor which will be a nice break from the heavy skunk based flavors that i've had a lot recently. I'm not sure if I've ever smoked anything from Oaxaca before but Doc says this one is very potent so I expect good things.
For this grow I will be changing up my method a bit and going with a very easy grow method Doc recommended to me. I've been so busy lately that something easy is a good idea right now. I will explain more about it as I go.
I will still be using the same lights for Veg and Flower....


Veg-
Start under 125 watts of T5 light. Then under 250 MH and finish under 400 MH.


Flower-
1-600 HPS
1-400 HPS
1-400 MH
All hung vertically...


I started them one week ago and they are looking good so far.

Glad to see you here!

Ok....im going to use the much hated or much loved ......Miracle Grow.

For Veg-
Miracle Grow All Purpose 20-20-20

Start in 4 inch pots. After seeds crack soil wait aprox 1 week and start feeding with 1/2 Tablespoon per gallon MG 20-20-20. Then give 2 straight waterings.
Repeat.....
Let grow for aprox 3 weeks or until pot is full of roots and transplant to 5 gal. Flip to 12/12 when they are the size you wish. Continue with 20-20-20 for 1 or 2 weeks after flip then flush well.

Flower- Miracle Grow All Purpose 15-30-15

After flush start on MG 15-30-15
1/2 tablespoon per gallon, per feeding, followed by 2 waterings. the same as veg.

-ALWAYS WATER SO YOU HAVE PLENTY OF RUN OFF-

As long as you don't have crazy tap water you never have to PH using this method.....

So far, my jazz seedlings look a lot healthier then most of my seedlings have looked lately.

I used the Canadian version of peters 20-20-20 to do the exact same thing with the 35s then 2 weeks into flower i switched to the Canadian version of peters bloom food which is a 15-30-15 as well..Thats pretty funny, "great minds" i guess. I might try feeding as soon as you are, Im always to careful with young plants..I could probably pushem harder. Thanks by the way, your great grows gave me the balls to try the evil blue powder and you were ohhh so right my friend.
But you know I feel like such a sucker..I mean a real big time sucker for the thousands of dollars Advanced and House and Garden suckered me into spending with their great advertising and spiffy bottles.
After all pot is special so it must need special foods to make it grow to its maximum yield and potency..I figure that kinda thinking cost me 5K over the past 10 years. My last crop i used peters 20 20 20 and 10 30 20 and it was the best over all crop Ive had with yield right where it should be taste was the same as always, It cost me $9 in ferts. I blame the Canadian school system for making me a dumb servant to the system..

i have been giving that some serious thought lately myself. used a product called plantprod for years and did just as well if not better. 20 20 20 and 10 52 10. six dollars for five hundred gram jar with micro .

the evil blue powder is the Jacks Classic..or for that matter the MG is also blue. Some people are afraid of it i guess.The smoke from the Chem had subtle but definite differences....report coming in the next day or 2. Westland huh? thats not too far away....maybe.

I would be careful with that 10-52-10.
too much P and not enough N in my opinion.

Plantprod is exactly what Im using now..Im waiting for Crappy Tire to put it on sale again! I would use peters but its to expensive to have it shipped up to the land of Tims.
I should say I add some lime to my promix for calcium, Im not sure if i need to do it but WTF could it hurt. I also PH food and water somewhere between 6.3 and 6.5. They also make a transplant formula 10 52 10 im going to try next time i re-pot.. I always get a P def when i move up in container size, a burst of root growth i assume.
Spend $20 on a couple of small jars and try it on one plant, Please try it lol..Tsp per gallon or 5ml per 4Ls seems to get you about 700ish ppm, same as peters..I think Plantprod is just a copy of peters to be honest. I use plantprod 20-20-20 to veg and first 2 weeks of bloom then switch to the 15-30-15 for the rest. Like the doc said dont use the 10 52 10 for bloom..that would frack things up I think.

i hear ya. only used 10 52 10 transplanting until i got good roots. then 20 20 20. used koolbloom for flower. this was outdoors in buckets with promix hp. it should work well indoors as well. plantprod is evil aqua. lol

now i understand.....i've seen people using stuff like that for bloom....just seems drastic for that.

believe me i dont think bloom would be the time to cheap out. although i think with a plantprod product i would be alright.

yesterday i transplanted 3 of them...got the last one today.
All are in their final homes (5 gal Lowes Buckets)
