Please help!

Hey all not new to growing but new to starting from seed. So I brought 5 skunk #1 from royal queen and started them in jiffy pellets in a tub with clear lid and a vent, I placed all 5 seeds in 5 jiffy pellets and placed in tub and put a lil water in bottom and put lid in a placed in tent under a 400 hps. Around 3-4 foot away. So to sprouted and are healthy and in 2 L pots now growing good, that was 2 weeks ago I started them and the three still ain't come threw. They have germed as I moved a lil soil and they all have root poking out of seed just nothing is happening now. I have been growing a wile but always use clones where as now I want something else not just blue cheese, I got told to try and put them in a dark place and see if that works so done that today, temp in tent is 75f and lights are on 24/7 atm. Any advice would help a lot. Just don't want to lose these three as I have the other two and don't want them getting to big in veg due to minimum grow space.

Welcome to the world of growing my friend. You will never get 100% germination on your seeds. Its been two weeks. Thats about how long i would wait before killing them, even if they have a taproot. And quit looking inside the jiffy pots. Leave the seeds alone. Ive seen seeds come up 30 days after being planted. Dont know if they made it through flower though. My suggestion. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DARK. Leave them in 24 hour light, and place a heating pad underneath the tray you have the jiffy pots in. They sell heat mats for this on ebay. You can also just put a heating pad under the tray with a towel between the tray and pad to avoid too much heat transfer. Put the heating pad on low and leave it on. The downfall to this is most heating pads shut off ever couple hours. So you would have to get a timer where you can set the pad to shut off every two hours for a 15 minute break, then back on for 2 hours, and so on and so on. The heat may help the seeds sprout. Iwould'nt put plants that young under a HPS, They'd do better under floros

+1 on that. For got to mention that too. You need a floro bulb. Use a couple 23 watt cfls that are 5000k-6500k in the color spectrums. That should be enough light for them to germ. The hps light is probably like 2000k for its spectrum which is not ideal for germinating seeds......

Thanks for replies guys, alot of good info! I have a 200w cfl hanging around somewhere il hang that over them and move them out of the dark ASAP! Would you say these are goners or can they still come back? I want these for my dwc set up and don't have time to start over again

Right so I started again 5 seeds in sponge type pellets and have them in tub and lid and spraying once or twice a day if dry

Thanks for replies guys, alot of good info! I have a 200w cfl hanging around somewhere il hang that over them and move them out of the dark ASAP! Would you say these are goners or can they still come back? I want these for my dwc set up and don't have time to start over again
