I chopped all day yesterday and today and my drying box is full, I still have 2 plants to do so it looks as they will have to wait.

Hey guys, one of my side branches was hanging to the ground when I went upstairs yesterday due to weight. The branch is still in tact but I was wondering should I just harvest it or will it continue to grow? I staked it to keep it upright. Its 7 weeks in flowering

Nice bud you got there Steelie. ... I got a BlueDream feebie so i'll be interested in what you think of the smoke.
Thanks Moe! :-PThe first one was pulled last week. Even being pulled early the smoke is great! Can't wait to try this one, the test nug was pretty darn nice.

Just get some string and tie it to the main stalk. Let it finish if you want the best smoke from it. LOVE it when they fall over from weight.

DAMN! .. If I had more dough I would certainly move to Colorado for 6 months on a tourist visa. Its great what the people there have done because it opens up the debate worldwide.

Amsterdam is nice too. I like the narrow houses with funny roofs and canals and crazy bike lanes with trams. The smell of coffee, croissants and cannabis wafting across the damp cobbled streets. .. Inside the coffee shops the atmosphere is added to by the sound of a dozen languages all competeing to be heard over the espresso machines and the obligatory Reggae sound track.

It really is a wonderful and strange place to visit.

My fiancee has an aunt that lives just outside of Amsterdam; we plan on taking a holiday there at some point... I want to retire in Europe honestly... I'm hoping that my home state, as well as Colorado, can harness that MJ tourism vibe now that voters have legalized it here... Still remains to be seen what the Feds might do when the state sets up retails stores

Just outside Amsterdam is nice too, lots of smaller more discrete coffee shops with better deals. ... Its quite a querky country geographically speaking too, you'll never see a flatter place in your life, that's why many of the populace ride bicycles. ... I like the accent too, when speaking English they have that slight lisp.

My other favourite European city is Barcelona. That place really has character. I went for 5 days and only slept twice. I think it beats Amsterdam for nightlife and overall character. I'm a fan of architecture of every style and Barcelona has it all, from Gothic to ultra-modern. I really recommend it highly.

Where in Europe would you like to retire Prae?

Good problem to have..hard to tell from this crappy pic but my room is full of heavy lil colas just getting fatter day 34 so not quite 5 weeks..which means I had better get to staking since the real weight is about to pack on.
Yesterdays chop. I picked up the bulk wire at the local Co-op. Cut and bend to fit your needs .

Update time. Again I had a def/lockout to start flower. I thought that I had preloaded too much cal/mag in the coco during the rinse. Tried a flush and it didn't seem to help. I have 2 - 2gal buckets and 3 in 3gal smart pot (supchaka beta version 2.0). I'd been adjusting the ph as with the prior coco run, but I'm using different coco this run. I adjusted to 6.5 and feed one of the buckets then checked the run-off, and the ph was the same (ec increased by 1.5).

I flushed everything again ph 6.0 and with the proper level of cal/mag. Things look better today. Here's a few shots taken prior to the flush. The smart pot has solved the flush issue with a hempy, since it's such a pain in the ass to try and tip buckets to get as much of the rez drained as possible. 13-03-16MWxPH 001riu.jpg

Just pop the bucket bottom off and flush away.

Here the last of the mist cross plants from the last run, she's at wk10 and has added so much new bud in the last wk she look more like wk5, I'll give her at least another wk.

lol yea I never experienced that before so I must be doing something right this go around. Praying for the best as my yields n the past have been poor. I don't have any ties but I just staked it to sit up right and so far its looking good.

Speaking of staking, do you guys use bamboo sticks and if so do you stake in the middle close to the stem or outside towards the rim of the bucket? Ive always staked towards the rim of the bucket because Im afraid it will damage the roots but Ive seen some guys stake it right in front of the stem

Bamboo down the side because of the narrow diameter and limited root-growth of a 2L that gets switched to 12/12 immediately.

I might Bamboo stake through the root-mass if I was able to give some veg-time.

Mine just lean on eachother lol, works for now :)
It does work ... mine lean also ... but on my last run I staked a tub of 21 x 2L and it makes a big difference to the stability of the Hempy and I think allows for better light penetration .. I'm so lazy but should cut a load of bamboo stakes for the others.
