what to do with extra meds

admirable thing to do. i stopped giving away free meds to random people when someone unfolded me a story about how bad off they were and showed up with her two buddies in a brand new extended cab pickup truck, thousands of dollars worth of hunting clothes, ammo, and guns, and walked out of the store buying copious amounts of cigs and beer.

i threw the bag right back into my car, explained that she was abusing my goodwill, and left.

now, i have a neighbor who knows plenty of people that are deserving because she unfortunately has terminal cancer and obviously knows a few others in her same position].

Go volunteer at a nursing home and see whos using meds. Then you can offer to donate to them, this will kill 2 birds with one stone helping out lots of people. Turning the overages into edibles, tictures, or hash could be a great way to consolidate it and have more options to help people too. Many sick people can't always smoke, and can't always make the other things themselves.

Look online for local cancer patient support groups, contact the moderator or leader of the group and explain what you're doing. Think about possible roadblocks and have those solved before you call. Maybe offer to give a lecture to the group on the benefits of cannabis to cancer patients. Make sure that you emphasize that everything you are offering is free. Free now AND free later. People with major illnesses like cancer, or spinal cord injuries have reps constantly trying to sell them stuff. Especially if the sales reps find out they have good insurance. So don't get discouraged if they treat you as a salesman at first. Also, you're dealing with people who have serious life issues. They may not always be in a receptive or good mood. Be persistent.

That you're giving away the meds for free will open doors for you, but the question people will have is, "will this always be free?" Don't forget the old dealer adage that says the first hit is always free. People, especially anti mj people or uneducated people may see you as trying to offer some free drugs in order to hook them into buying from you later. (Evil drug dealer... muahahaha, and all that) Altruism is exceedingly rare today, and people get leery when offered a free lunch.

Good luck on your quest!
