5 lbs of NUGS/CO2 EXTRACTION

I finally had another dream come true. I was contracted to do 5 lbs of buds. It wasn't really sellable, so rather than just waste or toss it, supercritical fluid extraction is the best option in this case. The nugs were sellable, able to get a bill for each oz. So the big question now is yield. Can one oz of nug produce enough oil to value more than $150. If that's the case then there's a market for us to enjoy. The solvent cost was estimated @ $400. The math was pretty close. The product was so potent, everyday smokers of mmj were so off gaurd when trying this co2 concentrate, the norm for me to hear was "I'm so fuckin blasted." Almost as if they were crazy repeating that phrase. And yes, bho has no chance what so ever at matching the level of completeness from the matrices as does co2.

I'll bite, even though I highly suspect this is marketing propaganda. Which of the 2 in bold up there is correct? How much true BRM did you have to work with? Batch size? Pressure used? Temp? Time? CO mass air flow/hr?

lolllllllllllllllllll, when i first read this, I too looked over that part, and, and thought, wow, this guy cant even get his story straight in the same post..

i dunno, i wouldnt say this guy aint got skillz, but he sure does know how to tick people off

If he's running CO, he'll know the answer to my questions and the math formula will fit the numbers he gives me.. if not, I can/will discredit his technique with proven math in under 2 minutes.. so we'll see what results.

All the extractions for the first run were done cosub2. Lightly hit w low pressure, the extractions haulted just when they start juicing. Work done about 1000psi, 70F, 1 hr resident time, flow went as always, unmetered. So the batch second run will target 6,000psi, 140F, 4 hr resident time. I forgot some picts, so here.

See, was thinking you would have said something close to 60 bar, +/- .1 for pressure, not PSI - so I assume you're not working in a lab designed for it? Temp makes all the difference too, what type would this be done at?

What temp did you keep the crude BDS at? This is an important step.. so any bit of information you could provide would be great.

What's a lab, and how does one extract concentrates? Anything I type on these forums is completely made up, I can barely keep a cactus alive. (This is at least somewhat sarcasm, and dodging the question at the same time.) hahahaha

looks like you dont know how to scrape your oil with a straight blade. maybe try using a pair of "mosquito forceps" and not get your thumb coated in oil...

If this was true we'd see co2 extracts everywhere.

For what it's worth, everday smokers trying our BHO or QWET for the first time, are inevitably blown away. Ostensibly that would suggest that it may have more to do with the high concentration of cannabinoids, than how they were harvested.
