I guess I'll just answer the question...
The mix is fine.

Ideally you should not put only perlite in the bottom, this is what I've heard from many growers.
Though I'm on my 1st personal grow, I have had many successful "team grows", and remember having the same idea way back when, but quickly discovered this is a no-no, so have never done this.
Just make sure it's very well mixed, and if you can get some perlite on its own, get the ratio up to about 3 parts soil 1 part perlite minimum.
The more drainage the better (within reason), especially for auto-feed systems.

Long story short.. Bmeat was one who would come up with unique names and terms for growing things, or techniques used in growing cannabis.. and that's the start. He'd then try to argue light cycles, growing techniques, and configurations that have been proven to work for 50+ years.. in the end, it was discovered that he was underage, and got a very swift removal from RIU as you know it.

Alright this has been tons of fun but i got to go lights out and all just sticking my two cents in take care all. I hope the poster didn't mind to much with this running away on him I just wanted to know what a bmeat was, I thought it was one of those lmoa or lol or some slang like that.
