I think your idea on the previous page would work. Just try not to block too much intake, someone else mentioned twice the size of the fan opening, and that's a good rough start. If you're worried about noise from air being pulled in, then you need to diffuse it -- that means add another opening (or, drill some rows or something), not so small that it whistles, but big enough that it reduces the noise.

Then, post pictures, please. :D

I always want to help but just reading through your posts i noticed a few things that lead me to believe you may be <18 and living at home with the parents, No CC, Can't get mail delivered, The whole speaker grow concept to start with. I mean no harm but if you still live at home DO NOT ATTEMP AN INDOOR GROW!!!! I'm all for you going outside, but you will NEVER pull off a grow in your parents house without there knowledge. At best THEY WILL FIND IT, and at worst you show to may people, one of them gets in trouble and gives you up to save there ass and BOOM. Guess who loses there house and possibly gets charged with cultivation, your parents. Not right dude. And lets be honest, You wil probably spend so mush building this box that you could have bought 4x the weed that you will harvest from it anyway. And without all the waiting.

If i'm wrong i aplogize, but i think i got something here.

Do the right thing and put em outside, Huge harvest, cheaper setup and NO risk to your parents. But keep quiet about it, SHOW NO ONE.

If i'm right but you decide to proceed with your current plan anyway, leave the box on and running with no plnts in it for a few weeks, Or even a tomatoe plant maybe. That way WHEN they catch you your just doing a project for school or some shit, And not commiting a felony.

Do the right thing

i am growing outside but i decided i want to try and grow a small plant for a personal yield so i would still have some chronic if the outdoor plants were killed, stolen, or eaten by animal, etc. i like your idea password. i think im going to get a salvia plant and grow it in there first just because they are legal and if i get caught with it i wont be in any trouble. thanks

That depends totally on the cfm (cubic feet per minute) rating/output of the fan itself. If one fan can do it, then there ya go. You can always start with one, then add more if needed, right?

here are the pictures of what i have done so far. today i got a piece of thick paper, and cut the circles for the speaker holes, then i covered the circles with electrical tape and staples them on the inside of the speaker. now that thats done i have to get a powerful computer fan and cut the holes for that and cut a big hole for the passive air intake. i dont think its really noticeable from the outside i still have some touching up to do with a black sharpie so you cant see the color of the wood or paint but other than that i think it looks alright. let me know if u have any advise, comments or insight. thanks

That's gonna be TIGHT in there. But, looks good!

I can see how your biggest problem at this point is going to be hiding the lights/lighting when you open up the air intakes. Everything that I can think of will let light out (that's why I suggested the glamor lighting, just to throw it all off).
