Do you trim immediately after chopping? Or do you let it dry first then trim it?

I trim mine immediately, into jar-able sized pieces, place on an 8-teir collapsible drying rack, then into jars.

it probably sounds like a weird approach for a lazy person, but i trim mine twice. i do a shitty rough trim job when they're wet, then i hang them, then i give them a final trim while i'm cutting them into jar-sized pieces. trimming them correctly the first time around is so tedious. i just get most of the leaf off so they dry well, then when they're dry it's easier to just snip off little pieces as i toss them in the jars. waiting till they're dry for the first trim is a bitch. it's like peeling a really obnoxious banana.

I use this same method most of the time but sometimes with different strains like green crack they'll clump together so for strains like that I'll trim and then hang dry on hangers and devine later.

I like to trim mine right away then hang them upside-down for 3-5 days. It's humid here.
Then cut the buds off and into labeled jars.
I found hanging them from a hook in the ceiling is easier on my back then holding them when trimming.

I prefer to hang my nugs rather than lay them out to dry...I feel like that gives a flat spot. But yeah, full trim then dry, then jar...

I use the hazey grapes method by trimming off all the bud, flushing it down the toilet, and leaving the leaf. Then I just smoke away, I don't even bother drying anymore.

I start trimming off fan leaves a few days before I chop down. Then I trim everything up the best I can, hang dry, and then give a final trimming as I'm cutting nugs off into jars.

This is pretty much what I do.

we hang ours to dry first--then trim into the jars and be sure to open jars daily for awhile to complete the drying--good job---smoke away--you deserve it.:weed::clap::cool:

JESUS FREAKING CHRIST......5 gallon buckets... damn
who r u one of the cash money boys

I do the same as you but minus the 5 gallon buckets
I started with qt jars went to 1/2 and 1 gal jars. I grow for myself and two other mmj card holders and up to 30 plants. Last Harvest took 3-4 guys 8 days at about 5 hours a day to do. Pretty much hate trimming after the first day.

I trim everything pretty well when wet, then put all branches on hangers, leave in closet 5 - 8 days then remove stems and place buds into mason jars opening about 2 hours a day for about 2 weeks.

I trim by hand place on drying racks, jar and burp.
But I do have this that will trim almost as good as hand trimming.
