This is the best advice a beginning grower can get and use study everything you can about growing but understand that every1 grows differently and what works for them may not work for you just experiment and dont get discouraged if things dont go the right way the first time just understand what and where it went wrong and learn from your mistakes

No better advice can be given to you than is being given. Do as much research as you can, start saving money because even if you go outdoors it's not cheap.
With enough knowledge you can change the universe.
Some of these other guys can probably give you a good reading list of what to buy to in order to get a great start.
I learned from reading one old book and lots of trial and error, and it wasn't very fun. Ha ha.
Get some good reading in and you'll know how to start.

Im a first time grower and ive looked at multiple sites and forums about soils, nutes etc so i got started.
I started buying mids because of the seeds because its cheap to get and i want to experiment before i buy any from a seed bank.
currently im using:
fox farm ocean forrest potting soil(works great)
spring water all the time no tap for
me,
6 6500k 120w equivalent cfls
2 3500( i need to get a few more 6500ks my others took a shit)
a cardboard box with some tinfoil(i know tin foil isnt good but its what i have for now)
Grandmas unsulfered molasses
and this week im going to get ff trio pack of nutes
as of right now i have 18 ladies gowing right now on week 4 from seed and there doing great, but im running outta room so im building a bigger grow boxes this week , im not sure how to post pics yet but i will asap

Just a few suggestions....Its better to use nothing then use tin foil, if you are going to use molasses, use blackstrap, its more refined.... And those 3500s... Better to use 5000k and 6500k

and na idk what kind of strain it is. Ive just been buying mids and getting as many seeds as possible, and im tryna grow them with good stuff. Ive seen peoples vids of some good buds from mids when you use good stuff, so im trying

REI carries them, walmart...also amazon as them for real cheap

Ill have to check em out, cause im just doing an indoor grow but im gonna expand my grow box and get ventilation in it as well

Does anyone know where to get high watt cfls 6500k for a standard base socket? Im getting a 1000 watt system in a few weeks from flora hydro in atlanta in a few weeks but i wanna get more cfls till then

i got mine at lowes.desk lamp + bulb $20 but they only put out 1300 lumens. I got a few of them for some side lighting

1450 might be the same... I was just guessing cause I knew it was close. Without that 85k hps I would be lost though. And those blankets can be found in the camping section of walmart. They're in a tiny rectangular box and called "emergency blankets"
