Slightly on topic.. as this is the CFL joint..

If you are growing under CFL, unless you have a few grows under your belt and you already employ and are comfortable with heavy radical LST/super cropping, 'don't' even think about a real Sativa if you grow under CFL in small spaces. They are a hoot to do so, but not for those who haven't got down their indica skills under the same lights first.

A real Sativa can get out of hand real fricken quick,,. If you haven't grown real Sativa before and are under CFL, it is a bit like starting an aquarium/fish hobby by going 'salt water' before you try fresh water tanks.

i had always grown outdoors and had one indoor grow and both were male. yes i know about sativa but i believe i can handle it and yes i do use just cfls. my box at this time is a 2'x2'x4' box, and right now i have 6 young plants (bagseed) about a month old. but want to get some fem seeds.

This is an obvioius one, get a sativa dom OG Kush, and an indica dom GDP, cross them, make cherry pie which is arguably the best strain ever bongsmilie

i've heard of og kush but not the others. cherry pie here in the south is cherry moonshine, good stuff but you can't smoke it. i will look into them, and have been looking at trainwreck, white widow and white rhino. i'll have bagseed for the lighter stuff but i want something good for other times.

I'm a fan of landraces, and of genetics which haven't been crossed too many times.

For a sativa-dominant, try Acapulco Gold, although be warned: they get REALLY big. We struggled with her stretching when we grew her indoors.

For a pure indica, I can't think of a nicer smoke than Moroccan Ketama. We had originally intended to turn all the bud we yielded from our Ketama grow into hash, but after having smoked some of the bud we couldn't bring ourselves to do it. It was simply too tasty and fragrant to throw into a bubble bag.

Ok, my ears perked up when you said Acapulco Gold! I haven't had any since the 70s. Best mexican I ever had without a doubt. Do you happen to know any breeder or bank that has a good representation of the real deal?

I'm afraid I may disappoint you, but the AG I grew came from Barney's Farm, and therefore probably bears little likeness to the original AG of the 70's. It is, however, a terrific strain imho.

Indica = bubba kush

sativa= durban poison or cindy 99

hybrid= Flo

(Although technically everything is pretty much hybrid now even if it claims to be OG)

why? Each have a distinct smell... Like you know the top KB that usually stands out among the rest in smell, taste nd high? Yeah. Those three/four top my list. Ive had my med card for 4 years now and have sampled hundreds an hundreds of strains....
