I have a 4x4x5 grow tent what size carbon filter would handle the tent full of plants?
That filter has a 265 cfm min rating, not the best choice unless u run 300 cfm or more through it. Max rating is more important but you want to be closer to minimum.I use this one for a slightly larger space and it works pretty well.

I am running it through an air cooled hood with a 170cfm exhaust.
I have to use a reducer as my exhaust is only 4". In a perfect world, I would have a 6" exhaust.
/\ look at the combos on the site he suggested and get the $120 more than enough says:I use this one for a slightly larger space and it works pretty well.

I like this setup, run mine on med speed for a 600w and does very well. I too reduce to 4", but no issues there. Better a bit too much carbon than not enough!I run a 6" 440cfm fan with a 6x24 540cfm filter for my 4x4x6.5 tent that runs a 1000w'er, but ran the same with my 600w'er.
