Just went in with a buddy friday and got me some new beans for trial.Not going to post them all but here will be what hits the dirt as soon as the mailman shows ;)

i wanted GDP and Jillybean. both were sold out by the time i got on.

i made substitute picks.


i even bought a 3pack of sweet seeds afghani s1s because they were sold out of pick and mix. hoping that wasnt a bad idea.

i ordered the crush proof tin on my last order and it is similar to an altoid tin. only difference is theres a rubber seal on the inside of the cover to help keep moisture out. The tin is where i store all my beans, in a drawr.

i ordered them shipped in a crush proof tin once and i leave them in there in the packs they come in (which is rarely more than a bag ud buy bud in since i rarely order by the 10 pack...i buy most thru pick and mix) and i leave them in that tin and i store that tin in a drawer surrounded by clothes (to really ensure moisture stays out of the tin/seeds). its worked for me. ive germ'd seeds as old as 3-4 yrs old that way. ive never stored seeds for any longer because i usually use them up by then.

i still have some beans from 3 or so tude xmas promos ago lol

My gdp that I ordered 2/27 got here today. USPS tracking is useless... it updated a couple times in ny and then nothing for 4 days until the shit was in my mailbox today. Royal mail has shown my promo order has been in the US for a couple days. USPS of course says origin is preparing shipment. I suspect my beans are already through customs and on the way (or already snagged by customs) to my house.

Also I keep beans in the tin in the fridge.

Agreed, USPS sucks ass. It should be as simple as scanning a barcode into a system.

I expect my order to be here monday or tues.

So usps just updated,i went through isc in nyc at 11 am hoping for Friday or Saturday. And i store my seeds in a tin inside a food saver in the veg draw at ginger. Seeds will last forever when I'm fridge. My buddy germed seeds from the late 70s last year no prob. You'll get about 5yr with no fridge and the germ rate drops fast after 3 years... Sorry for any miss spellings our wrong words I'm on my phone at work

I just float mine in tap water until I see em sprout usually 24 - 36 hours then I put them in Rapid Rooter cubes in a dome.

I checked my tracking today, never did this before mostly because I never check my email anyway this is what it had, does this mean it is through customs and on its way?

I drop them in a glass of tap water until they sink, but for no more than 24 hours (just cuz that's what I was told from some random source I forget where).

Once they sink I put them in wet paper towels inside a dvd case and set it on top of fridge. Checking 3-4 times a day to make sure they stay damp/wet (not saturated/soaked).

When I have about 1/2" tap root I plant about 1" in rockwool, taproot end down.

Backfill the tiny hole with rockwool and keep damp/wet in my little seed starter green house under my 400w MH 2-3 feet away.

After 2 weeks of being seedlings they go into net pots with hydroton in my dwc system.

Yea, I think that means you're good. My order is sitting in Jamaica with yours. Or more likely, lazy fucks at the post offices along the way just don't give a shit about scanning a bar code for your little tracking number.
