Hello RIU I have about 75 watts of LED power and a 70 watt CMH with electronic ballast coming for a GL40 grow. The tent is 16" x 16" x 47" and I want to run it in my closet which I want to keep locked while I'm at work. The closet is about 3' x 2' x 10' will this get too hot with no airflow out of the closet? Let me know what you think. Suggestions are welcome too thanks.

Without proper circulation your plants will burn, especially in that small of space.
Why not use the whole closet and still just lock it? But either way, you need circulation to strengthen stems and keep your plants happy. You can't expect them to be happy without air. That's the biggest thing they need to grow.
You might get away with it with those small of lights but you need to do some more reading.
Is this your first grow? Plants need air, water, lights and food.

i know...... Ive been planning this grow for over a year now. I know what i need to get my first grow going and if they die thats my fault. However the only thing i asked about was 150w of lights in my smallish closet and if they would raise temps too high. I will have plenty of air circulation/odor control/co2/nutes in the grow tent though. All im worried about anymore is temps..

I realized people on here just wait to be of "guidance" here lol ..even if it doesn't realate to ur question ..
As far as ur question ..I have 110 watt PLL lights in a 1.5 x2 x 3 ..inside of a bigger closet ..if ur sucking hot air out the TENT and dumping it back into the CLOSET it's gonna be fine ..the 10 ft height is key and all the hot air will rise to the top ..it's gone get a lil warm but you'll be ok ..

I'm sorry but I think you must of missed that I answered his question, and also did you see that he said he was using a tent that is 16x16x47. So he's not working with 10ft, the 10ft comes from his closet not the size of the grow area.
So he's working with not even 4ft. Huge difference.
that's only the grow space. its real small. lol yes i plan on dumping tent air into closet then recirculating it back in. It will be scrubbed as it exits tent. I should have enough co2 in closet between door openings and if not i can always run a sugar/yeast set up cheaply. I have a CO2 PPM meter. i can always turn off the CMH bulb if it gets too hot. My plants should grow on 75 watts of actual LED power okay. It will be hydro in 3 gal bucket. I will be using floranova grow/bloom. fan is a S&P 100x pushing through a phresh 4x12 filter, yes i will put the external filter cover on the inside since ill be pushing. im going to have a dehumidifier on backup if humidity goes over 60%. Plan on running a mini scrog in the tent. Strain will be female seeds c99 from seed. thank you for all of the lovely info. it has been helpful.

U must of missed the part where he said ..he's using a tent inside a closet ..lol haha ..
And the 10 feet is the height of inside of the closet of the tent he's in ..u must of missed that 2 ..lol ..
So the hot air WILL RISE in side of that closet ..after its dumped outa the tent ..I answered his question ..maybe u should do more reading haha lol
