I'm not sure who told me this, but they said that it's always best to have the air being sucked through the light+cooltube vs air being pushed over it, but from looking at your picture perfect setup, it appears your sucking air through the carbon filter, and blowing air through the light+cooltube out of the tent, correct?

Yea that's how it's setup. I've tried it where air was sucked over the cool tube, I haven't noticed a difference.

Growth is finally starting to take off. I've had to change the rest twice in the past two days. She's really drinking up some nutes. First res change I added back 250ppm checked the next morning and it was down to 190. So I did a 400ppm mix and now it's down to 350ppm. A root has finally made it to the res so growth should really start taking off now. Not sure how long I will veg this one for. I was thinking 5 weeks minimum.

18th day since sprout.

Im probably going to veg mine around 5-6 weeks seems good, looks like she's taking off nicely perfect health. im now a big fan of the flora nova bloom i only used like 1/4 of my bottle last grow. What do you think about substituting hydroton with coco?

I've thought about it. I meant to run a test after last grow but never got around to it. Would be something I definitely want to try in the near future.

Hey mr2shim, any updates? How are things going? I plan on running your EXACT setup.. 100% to the T. However, I was planning on doing 600W instead of 400W. I checked out Orlandocb's current grow journal, and his setup is sorta like yours, and is running in the same size tent I'm going to use but with the 600W, and he's getting some extremely good results. I saw you post in his journal so I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about. I'm just still pondering about which hydroponic setup I want to do. I'm definitely thinking DWC, it's given me great results with my last grow.

Anyways, I LOVE how simplistic your setup is. I'm a firm believer of "KISS" - and your setup is a good simple setup that seems like it's going to produce some massively great smoke.

You should go with waterfarm. It's really good with scrog IMO. If you can cool the 600w definitely go with it. I'll post a new picture tomorrow. She's moving right along, probably going to top it by Friday.

Day 21 not as big as I would have expected it to be at this stage but no worries. I topped it this morning at the 5th node. Did a res change, upped ppm to 450. Pic is before top.

Yeah hopefully she will get a little growh spent if noticed that with water farms and stuff it take a second for them to get going but when they do they go off compared to soil and other growing methods. Hopefully you can still flower by day 35 I you going to scrog this one?

Yea I'm going to scrog this one. It would be nice to be ready to flower by day 35 I'm doubting it at this stage but you never really know.

Veg the LSD for at LEAST 49 days. IMHO...Waiting that long I think is required for his strain.....My 5 LSD girls also started slow....Looked like crap..... Waited the 49 days then when I went to 12/12 WOW! My girls took off! Hang in there guys...If done right LSD rocks!
