Flowering in the spring?

Is it possible to flower a plant for a certain amount of time indoors, and then set it out in the spring to finish flowering, or will she revert back into veg no matter how far along she is?

I'm doing it in East Central Florida as I type. I had some unexpected company arrive, so I moved everything outside on Feb 12th. They were 2 months into veg when I moved them outside and are now showing flowers.

i'm hoping they make it through flowering or else I'm gonna throw them back inside to finish

Yea, it is totally possible. A lot of new growers actually have this problem by accident. If you put a sexually mature plant outdoors in early spring, it will begin to flower because the hours of light per day still are not long enough. You could veg your indoor plant until spring, then gradually harden it off, bringing it outdoors. Once the plant has been hardened off and outdoors, it would then begin to flower because of the lighting period. You could flower inside then gradually move outdoors, but Once a plant has begun to flower, it really disrupts the plant, moving it, it may cause it to go into shock and stop growing. So maybe veg indoors, then early spring, after last frost, slowly harden the plant off and it should begin to flower. Theres a possibility, that if you do succeed in flowering your plant, once the bud matures, you can cut it off, leaving some vegetation matter on the plant, and it will begin to reveg, start growing, and then begin to flower in the fall for the second time. Those are just ideas, hope that helps, happy growing

I start flowering outside at the end of march. its saves money & gives u a better yeild! BE SAFE! but it will go into veg stage if u dont use some type of cover to control the sunlight. but it also depends on how far along the plant is at the time you set it out & how long it has left to flower.

How does it save money and give a better yield?

It's much cheaper to flower outside than it is to run your grow lights.. The plants love the natural sunshine and fresh air.
I veg indoors under t-5's. Ususally for about 2 months. Once I put them outside they start growing like crazy!! I definitely believe
sunlight and fresh air increase my yield..

@michaelj.... Don't know what area you're in but I'll harvest my first plants in about 6 weeks. I'll have at least 6 outdoor harvests this year !!! Every 30 days starting in April.
