Just put the carbon filter in the room. Then there isnt bugs and leaves flying through your shit and clogging up your filter. Edit - and getting stuck in your fans lol

You are not supposed to have bugs in a grow room and when leaves fall off my plants I pick them up. You probably have bugs from all the dead leaves on the floor of your grow room.

Dont understand why the 2 fans ,ya only need 1 fan ,follow delvite Post ( drawing ) Not the picture , although he has the theory of exhausting correct , each time you bend the flexable duct to a 90deg turn its like adding 40 feet of straight duct to your application ,therefore hindering the air flow and effecting the fans true capability. So when you look at his design witch in theroy is correct .but he has 3 90deg turns (elbows) witch = a extra 120ft the air has to run ,Ive saud this time and time again here ,you guys spend good money on exhaust and buy top of the line fans and then duct them incorrectly therefore cutting the capability of the fans designed potential by 30% to 50%. ,Air is moved by Static pressure , not like plumbing water PSI. anotherwords you cant hook up duct work like you would plumbing without suffering great effect on air movement.

and after looking at op's drawing , any carbon filter I've seen has one end with a flange so unless he has some type of inline filter he won't be hooking it up like that.

Have i got my ventalation set up right lads if not let me no whats wrong
sorry about the pic im a shite drawer lolView attachment 2549936
sorry if its already been covered.

take one of your fans and hook it up to the filter and exaust the air from the room through the filter, then just use one fan to pull in cool air through the hoods and out the other end.

the way you have it set up you will be filtering the air outside of the room, the idea of the filter is to pull smelly air from inside the room and blow out clean air.

the way i do it is i hooked my filter up to an open end of my light and just pulled air from my room through my filter, through the cool tube and out, this creates negative pressure so i get air from outside coming in any spot that will allow air to come in and it keeps any stinky air from leaking out of the room.
