Im blasting small runs for personal use (1-2 oz) using twitchs method.
Interested in vac purging and i need some advice and suggestions.
So far these are the items i have decided to purchase:

Is this pump and chamber enough to pull 29.9 hg?
if its more than enough, does anyone have any better suggestions so that i may save a few bucks
And lastly, can someone help me find the right parts i would need to connect everything?
thank you and happy dabbing.

I'd go with a lower micron rating on the pump. It will make it faster and cleaner purge. The chamber is perfect have the same one its black tho. The good thing about these ones they can be heated white purging. Makes it a hell of a lot easier.

looks for a us general 3cfm 2 stage pump mine goes down to 25 microns
also look for a us general ac manifold gauge set
and that chamber looks good

i dont know where u live but see if you have a freight and harbor store in your area they have both of these items

yes and the chamber, and i would suggest going to wal-mart and getting a presto griddle one big enough to put ur whole chamber on. (i think mine was 24.99 and i got the biggest one) Also get a ryobi temp gun they are like 10 bucks at home depot but i think they are also at wal-mart, the temp gun is important.
the temp gun is used to check the temp of ac vents in houses

yea i didn't think this bho thing was going to run my pockets so deep. but so far its been worthwhile.
i just need to get my method down and a thermometer is a must for the presto griddle.

I noticed the black version of this chamber has a ball valve? is that necessary?

Thanks, I ran my first batch a couple days ago and used 54 micron screen that came with the tube.
came out darker green with a lil bit of material so i DO NOT want to show it lol.
Going to pick up some unbleached filters for the next run.

i dont really use the ball valve because i do a continuous vacuum

actually with the way this guy does his valves now you dont need the ac gauge. notice how there are 2 yellow handled valves, that's so u can shut the one that connects to the vacuum and then open the other one to let the vacuum out. if you do that with out the ac gauge or having that extra valve to close you will actually suck the oil out of the pump and all over your oil, it sucks i have had it happen.

The lower the micron the better the best pumps are 10 to 15 micron. Also 2 stage pumps will get the job done faster.
