I will try tomorrow Shiva they are all in bed now like good plants...
To the untrained eye male flowers look a lot more like a typical flower than females...especially when they open. Maybe whocares could snap a.close up? Are there small fuzzy white hairs growing out? Or is it a cluster of football shaped pods with small yellow/white flowers?
I posted a link of a picture that shows early stage male flower. Whocares plant is to young to have matured male that has released pollen. Check post #3441 to see a good male plant.
I test some crazy shit sometimes... Did you know that a full bladder of piss into 3 quarts of water is nearly 2000ppm?! Im not saying anything else for now![]()
I can see how the Trace would be a benifit but I'm not sure I'd like to dabble with the others to much.
Chaka I can only imagine you did this expirement, I was wondering though was the urine measured? As they say alittle goes along way, I'm not sure but I think it is suppose to be mixed at 5 to 1.
Lol it went like this... I was busy doing shit in the garage and forgot to water the plants. So I'm mixing up the water for my soil plants, and had to pee really bad! So I was like hmm I have this empty bottle here no need to go in the house! Better yet why don't I just check the ppm of this when added to water. I ended up diluting it down to 1000ppm which also included some real nutes so I'd imagine it won't do much if anything. Not so much of a test lol. Ill have to give it pure diluted piss and nothing else if I really want to see! I may, I do weird shit and I've heard of people using it beforeChaka I can only imagine you did this expirement, I was wondering though was the urine measured? The data is all available on google LOL. ppm of milk, water, urine etc.
Further to some of our recent purple discussions - some 'stoner' thoughts I just had.
I remember at school being taught the leaves in fall don't actually turn purple 'per se'. What happens is that they loose the chlorophyll (green pigment) leaving the red pigments showing. The red/purple was always in the leaf.
So in my Hempy without holes, is this what happened? A lockout of the elements responsible for chlorophyll production? Since Mg is known to be key in chlorophyll this has to be key to the missing green pigment.
I think another element must have been responsible for blocking the uptake of the Mg. Since the buds were large and covered with frost, and also I was feeding Bloom Solution I'm guessing it was an excess of (P) Phosphorous or (K) Potassium.
Whatever the reason, I think it would be cool to mess with these mono-nutes to see if I can chemically induce the plant to show color or bigger/frosty bud.
