are you running nutes in your rez?

You're making me want to try DWC again.. I wouldn't do my cheap little RDWC setup again.. had it leak on me twice.. plus the rez was really small and kept getting warm.

I've got a submersible pump and a little drip loop.. you think that is worth the effort? Or would you just run a bubbler like you have?

yeah im running about 150 ppm of nutrient and around 200 ppm tap water....

bubble style DWC seems to be fairly straight foward. i guess it depends on how much work you want to put in.

Hey matt, next time you go to your grow do me a favor? Put your nose to the FCJ and take a big whiff. I wanna know how strong smelling she is compared to the other strains.

I already have a 6 inch fan. just need the filter if the smell gets too much for gel to handle.

The strain I am growing now is pretty stinky tho and the gel is working.

I think my carbon scrubber was one of the best buys for my grow besides the hps light I got off some ol' lady haha

yeah but will be back im sure still only February

so i got my ballast in today, went to hook it up and it made the same "pop" sound when i plugged it in and nothing.....so im ruling out that the ballast is bad and im going to investigate further when i get a little bit of time. might be a short in the socket or something and blowing the fuse....only thing i can think of. hopefully i can find a fuse for it...

yeah 3 prong outlets and on a surge supressor. and yes it is frustrating...i just want to have my light up and running so i can let my friend use my CFL rig so he can flower out his blue cheese and keep some clones in Veg.

I was just telling some guy with the same problem that amazon stuff sucks. Dont take that thing apart bro, they hold power for a long time, dont get zapped :):):)

That was the first thing I read about when I did remote ballast on my light. Didn't know that before haha always good to read before doing something unknown to you :twisted:

yeah i know, theres a capacitor in them that hold a shock large enough to kill you. im just going to take a look at the fuse make sure its not burnt then go from there.

roots on this DWC are coming in incredibly.....took about 12 days from seedling but every day im noticing new growth.

new fan is tripping my surge supressor so i think i need a speed controller to dim it down a bit, right now i just dimmed down my ballast to 75% fig thats better than no light and and outages, if the surge strip pops no one resets it unless they go down to basement.

anyways, been a busy day..gonna have a drink and relax.
